Could be good for civilians

I've never watched the show and never plan to.

Those two females could be turned into Class A uniforms.

Unfortunately, the Big Bang Theory figures looked good too until I got some in hand. All have pretty horrible paint jobs.

I will be so thankful when the trend of, "it's not crappy, it's retro!"ends.

....the chairs are okay.

Big Bang Theory figures have been some of the worst figures I've ever gotten.

That said,Bif Bang Pow has had some good figures come out during the same time. KISS, Twilight Zone, SNL, and Flash Gordon have all been fairly decent quality. Hopefully the BBT figures were a factory issue or something...

I don't think that the "retro" fad isn't going anywhere.
It's cheaper to make with less parts to assemble and simpler paint applications which means more money in the pockets of toy companies.

Grown ups seem to like to have various characters from older franchises being available in the style of their old Kenner figures. Funko keeps on popping new assortments with more and more franchises, so the demand is there.

You mean after you sculpt sleeves, lapels, epaulettes, buttons, seams, collars, necktabs, lengthen the skirts down to the knees, add the coat bottoms, and replace the head on the long-haired one?

Sure, I guess.

The fad doesn't bother me; the horrible sculpts do.
