I finally got a Schleich "Wild Life" Watering Hole diorama!



This completes my collection of the various "Wild Life" African elements. These dioramas will serve as an alien planet diorama with the right add-ons.



This set came with several great animals and fits seamlessly with the River, Waterfall and Cave dioramas

Picked up some miniature cinder blocks and bricks from http://minimaterials.com. For whatever reason when I ordered them I read 1:12 as 1:18, so unfortunately these are quite large scale wise for my taste. Sadly after looking back at the site they dont offer 1:18, but do offer 1:24 which while small may be interesting. I do think as a backdrop item these will work just fine, I just wont be able to put my figures right up next to them or else to give away the mirage. Getting them in hand though they do make me want to get into the garage and rip down some pine to 1:18 scale boards or whatnot.

I picked up a MU Gamora. I know I said I wouldn't spend $ but I didn't even know it was coming out. It looks great despite the lack of waist articulation.

After work today I hit TRU and found the Funko ReAction SDCC "The Dark Crystal" Landstrider With Jen 2pk!



I have never had any interest in the ReAction line as they featured soft sculpts and 70's articulation, but this series is the first to feature modern quality sculpts (they still feature the 5POA articulation though) and I LOVE "The Dark Crystal" so I will be getting this entire line.

Here they are with a 3.75" BFS Spartan for scale:






At the same time, I also found 10 more Papo Cyberdragons for $3 each!




Then, finally, tonight when my wife and I went out to dinner, we stopped at another TRU and I found another Papo Cyberdragon and a Papo Chimeara.



The best part was that the Chimeara was only $.03 and the Cyberdragon did not have a tag so the cashier just rang up the Chimeara twice! Total cost: $.06!
