So my Guardians are mostly movie based so-far, which explains the line-up and most of the designs. But there are comic influences (example, I prefer the comic Gamora head to the movie likeness I made). Then there was Groot.

I dig the movie accurate look, and I love the custom Spin Doctor made to achieve it. But it's not the biggest priority for me... so I cheated and went with a hybrid of the new comic based figure, with a movie head. Lightened the brown a bit also to go with.

I also repainted and went back to my prior Pratt head. Something about the JP Pratt head I showed last time seemed off. The repaint of this one helped.

And I've been playing with a new filter app and my old comic book app. So here's how that is working

Prisma is the app I used to get it to look like an illustration, and Comic Book! is the app I used to format the panels and text. Way too much fun.

You know those action smasher or battler figures? I originally planned to bash the Groot from that onto an articulate base. Even though not movie accurate, I decided instead to swap the head from the battler figure onto the new MU groot, then simply painted flesh... er... bark tones to match
