I sold my prior Baroness a while ago, and had mapped out a replacement that sat in the WIP bin. Getting a cast of the sdcc head helped the WIP along, but it was more a whim that she was next out onto my work bench. Funny that I was inspired to pull a random WIP by having completed 3 unexpectedly the day before. The irony is that this one figure took all week.

Anyway, going for more civilian but also a hint of IG, to help support the early themes of my EXCAL verse which included the disappearance of Cobra Commander and the betrayal by Destro and the Baroness.

Forgot to add a close up. It actually took two casts of the head to get here. I botched the first one horribly trying to glue clear styrene lenses into the sculpted frames. I just couldn't live with empty frames.

I compromised and tested and then found to be ok the solution of simply brushing some glossy mod podge in the glasses area instead.

That looks really good. Great solution for the glasses. Where did the cast come from?

Looks nice. The head seems a smidge large, was it a shrink down? If so of what figure? She looks great, though, I like this take on her.

Mark, I agree on the head. It's not a shrink though but a straight cast of the SDCC transformer tie in figure. And it looks even larger on the base figure it came with which is why I went this route.

I'll have to think where I got the cast at

Ah, gotcha. I hadn't really looked at the exclusives so didn't recognize it (and misread your first post). Looked up the sdcc figure and the head definitely looks better here than on it.

Thanks Mark. It's a great sculpt. 5% smaller would be perfect.

Hey 2Dark. Remember sending me that one leather coat and saying you couldn't wait to see how I used it? Look closer.

That belt really pops. I can totally see her strutting through Castle Destro on her way to the helipad.
