After years of fighting to keep this wretched 'tradition' out of my house, my daughter was gifted one of these pervy bastards by an extended relative. I don't think it's getting along with the house's other occupants.Image

I'd like to see The Interrogator go to town on that little creep.

Nice!

Or naughty, depending on your point of view.

The Elf thing still has me shaking my head. I never heard of this when I was a kid. When I had kids myself, my wife and mother are telling me we need to invite the Elf to our house. I'm like "What are you talking about? What is an Elf on a shelf." And of course you can't touch him so when he shows up in places where he is in my way, I get annoyed. I found him in the blender one morning. Can't tell you how hard it was to resist doing the wrong thing.

No one would blame you. Not at all.

Lol, we just started the Elf tradition this year, I'm actually enjoying it. It's pretty good for some laughs.

My family had those creepy felt elves from the 60's, and I hated those things. When this Elf on the Shelf fad started, I refused to ever do that to my kids. My wife found my original one when decorating the other day, and I tried to bribe my dogs to chew it up - unfortunately, none of them were brave enough to touch Satan's hellspawn.

The one thing I look forward to is all the people who are making the elf thing a joke. That's usually the first sign a fad will die out. I look forward to next Christmas when those demons return to their true homes.
