Heya Kronin, I ordered mine via bigbadtoystore.com , but hlj.com is also great for import stuff.

Right now, there are two versions of the Diabattles robot, red & blue and gray w/ yellow-orange trim. They're identical besides the colorways, and the number of micro figures you get.

The red & blue (for a short run, I think) is shipping with 4. The gray Moonbase ships with 3.

BBTS also has an 8-pack of pilots for pre-order, though, that should be arriving any day now, as well as smaller boxy mech suits that come with 1 pilot (due in January).

Good luck!

Also, beware... it's a crack-like addiction. For real.

Looks like Big Bad Toy Store got their shipment of new Diaclone stuff.

Initially ordered the 8-pack of Dianauts, but canceled when it wasn't going to ship in time for my birthday/Christmas. Kinda glad I did, since it's a set of blue and black armors... I know the pre-order image was a placeholder from a show months ago, but I was sorta hoping for a "skittles" starter pack.

Looking real hard at those little power suits, though...

That's good news that they are, at least, showing up. The site I ordered them from still shows them as pre-order. Maybe this week it will break free.

Just got mine last night. I love the sense of scale they give to CHUG Transformers:

Well! How are the joints / plastic feel / durability / range of motion ?

I've heard answers to all of these questions already but i can always use and appreciate more info.

It just hit me....

Short answer: joints are nice and tight, plastic feels sturdy, durability is great, and range of motion is more than I expected.

Longer -- Two of my figures were misassembled. One had two right arms and the other had two left arms. I was nervous about popping the figures apart to fix this, but figured if they broke, glue would fix them and that would be better than having the wrong arms. Those little ball joints are super sturdy! There was absolutely no flex or bending in the joint as I popped the arm off. Once the arm was off and I examined the joint, it's so tiny. The fact they can make a ball joint that small, and connect it with an even thinner rod so there is range of motion, and have it be as stout as it is is just incredible.

As for posability, they've held every pose I put them through. In fact, the lot of them have their magnets stuck to a fender washer, with them in various running poses. The magnetic connection is the only weak point in the pose.

Trying to decide between the 8-pack of Dianauts and one of the powersuits... leaning towards the pilots, since I do want the blue dudes (they sorta remind me of the LEGO Classic Space I grew up with) and I can customize the figures I have doubles of.

Plus, who doesn't need more teeny-tiny super-poseable action figures?!

I got the 8-pack and love it. They did a good job of mixing up the parts between blue and black/brown (looks more brown than black to me) to give distinct figures. I want a bunch more and I'm really wanting to customize them.

Gave it some thought and I'll probably pick up the 8-pack. I've got a couple colorways I've been dying to try, as well as some non-Dianaut characters I need the bodies for... :shifty: :shifty:

Takara's supposed to release a two-pack of power armors in February that I like better, so I can wait.

EDIT:

...Aaand I just got my shipping notice from BBTS for my 8-pack! Just might have to start working double-time on that custom Dianaut base...

Got home from the late shift to see these little buggers:

LOVE the teeny packaging!

I was expecting a card with bubble, but this is sooo much nicer! The box is about the size of a candy bar.

Lots more pics eventually, probably with a bunch of new custom s___. Keep it locked!

Yeah, I kept the little box and put it in my TF display, just because it's so neat.

Was in Wal-Mart yesterday and saw the TMNT Micro Mutants. They're a bit large, but I think they would work as generic monsters, or maybe even TMNT characters, with the Diaclone figures. I feel like Myron Reducto, wanting all my characters teensy tiny, but the Diaclone figs are just too cool not to expand their universe with similarly sized figures.

Do any of you own hero clix? I used to articulate hero clix figures and recall them being about Diaclone dianaut size but it's been a while since I've had one in hand. If you have both can you take a picture of then side by side? A average Hero clix figure should be 30 to 35mm tall. It would be a decent source of fodder potentially .

When I first got my Dianauts, I went a little eBay crazy for complimentary lines. Now that I found my teenage stash of Action Fleet at my parents' house, I just need some AF figures to fill out dios.

Speaking of dios, after collecting parts for months, I've started building an outpost with a small hangar for my Dianauts. My first concept was very ambitious, but I eventually decided on something smaller to test the waters.

I hope to have it completed by the time my red powersuit shows up this coming week... just couldn't resist that orange Dianaut...

Oh happy day! My preorder finally shipped! That's what I get for going cheap and getting these from somewhere besides BBTS. Can't wait for them to get here.
