I had a 25% off coupon for Barnes and Noble, so I stopped in to see what was interesting.

Found a book on my Christmas wish list (that hadn't been gotten) I wanted:

Then I stopped at Michael's to see if I could find something to get at 50% with another coupon. Saw a Safari Limited alligator with babies toy that was $15. http://a.co/7UEKHqc

Thought it would work as Croc Master's pet gator that he's raised.

It's huge though...


That's a single AA battery and a regular pen sized Sharpie...

What I got today wasn't anything that could be bought. Today I got TIME. Time to pull out fodder and just relax and play... I mean craft action figures together. I was able to get my IG ready for the group project and work on a few others... Also had to start making a paint list as much of mine has dried up.

My wife just surprised me with these nail decorations that are basically near 1/18 scale slices of fruits!

It took trips to 3 of the 4 Dollar Trees between my job and my home before I found more of these fruit slice nail art kits!

I messed up a few weeks ago and picked up 1 wire mesh desk organizers just because it looked neat. by the time I went back to dollar tree I had found a use for 6 of them, but they were all gone. when I get feeling better I might try some other dollar trees. you did right by buying all of those!!

I picked up these sheets of duck tape. I thought I might play around with using them on some Joe vehicles.



My initial ideas were:
Yellow for a test sheet, and possibly SAS stripes or an Adventure Team vehicle.
Animal print for a PDD Hiss.
Animal print (teal) for a Vamp for Zarana.

We are having our lightest Xmas to date, so the Mrs. and I were using our last Michael's 50% off coupon and she got me much needed chairs for my rustic taverns.

Stopped into the still open Big Lots across the parking lot from my job after I closed up.

Saw they had 25% off action figures, and had quite a few World Peacekeeper items available.

Looked on my phone to see I had an email from Big Lots for $10 off any $50 purchase.

Grabbed 2x of the little 8-wheeled amphibious vehicles,another Star Wars Imperial Landing Crew, another Star Wars Sabine, then found two of the 5-pack of World Peacekeeper figures. A couple of matchbox cars got me the discount.

I got the two figure packs because the skin coloring appeared to match to skin tones of some of the later comic packs ARAH figures and the Greenshirt 6-pack. Now I have the option of boonie hats or black helmets. 5 figures, with accessories, for $7.50 per set isn't bad.

The Playmobile pyramid needs a partial retool and a complete repaint but it will be an excellent diorama for my custom "Stargate" figures from a decade ago.
