these are about the same size as Bruder vehicles 1/16

in the description it should say Collection: Trucks & Work Vehicles

http://www.battatco.com/collections/driven

I saw some at Target but I forgot to check the price.

Would be neat to have an in-scale working garbage truck to recreate the assassination scene from 'Commando'!

These actually look better to me than Bruder. Even though they aren't licensed designs they look to have a bit more detail, and best of all, the doors actually open, which puts them leaps and bounds ahead of Bruders stuff. I've never bought a Bruder vehicle new simply because of that.

Guessing it's the first 4 trucks, the COE design, that are the ones in scale? From the banner picture at the top all the long nose vehicles look to be smaller.

Collection: Trucks & Work Vehicles are the same scale ones

Bruder's doors do open too.

Not on any of the ones I've seen. I think they do on some of the jeeps and such, but all the semi cabs have single piece cabs.

Some of the newer versions of Bruder semi trucks do actually have opening doors. They are very pricey though.

That is odd as I have never seen a Bruder truck that can't open it's doors. Are you sure they were Bruder ones?

I've seen these recently...

Goldbug, I think those are all the R-Series. A lot of the ones that end up at Marshalls and what not are the solid cab variety. Like these guys. My sons love that crane though despite no opening doors

That is even odder as my Marshalls has the dump trucks. None of those that you pictured were at my Marshalls(Home Goods or TJ Maxx).

And I stalked my marshalls for a while. I really wanted one with opening doors. I ended up buying on Amazon when a deal came up for the 1 Bruder I have with opening doors. I have 3 with solid cabs I got at marshalls, 2 of which my sons have made their own and the other is in mid customization.
