Glad you dig him.

Like I said...ton of work. But I'm glad I did it and that it came out okay.

So in the process of acquiring 2007 movie Hulks to make my upsized Hulk and Rulk customs, I managed to end up with an extra. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it until my son pointed out the new Legends 3.75 Maestro on a store shelf (remarking how puny it would look next to my Hulk).

I ended up grabbing that and popping it's head off, then my son and I set about making this:

While we were hunting down accessories for him, my son made up a pretty cool MCU storyline for him. He figured Thanos wouldn't want to bother with the Avengers in the Infinity War movie because he'd be so powerful with the Gauntlet. So instead he uses the Time Gem to bring future Hulk back and lets him kill all the Avengers for him - hence the trophies:

And of course he'd wear Black Widow's belt like a charm bracelet because they were so close once:

What do you guys think?

even as a non comic book guy I was instantly drawn to all those "trophies"! I really love your sons story and would watch that movie! I could use a list of all the conquests! how about using a Deadpool mask as a hanky or dew rag :)

Super cool! He should also carry some Wolverine claws as "shivs"!

::sees Namor's belt on Hulk's other wrist.::
...Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Heh - guess it's good I let my son talk me out of turning Iron Man's helmet into a codpiece.

This thread got so Hulk intensive that I figured it was time to change things up - by showing a "new" Hulk and Thor.
:-P
These were both inspired by the new Marvel Legends 4-inch Ragnarok set, which I picked up even though the figures looked a little puny in the store. That suspicion was confirmed when I got them home and I was actually considering returning them, but my son suggested I keep Thor's head and make my own (because he really wanted that movie-style War Hulk). So I made this guy from that doofy comic 2-pack Unworthy Thor:

I had to swap out his upper legs to get him to the right height for Thor in my collection (I use the armored Age of Heroes version body on my default Thor) and the neck required a makeshift adapter to accomodate the head. The accessories were just things I had in my parts bin.

I also considered cannibalizing the undersized War Hulk for accessories, but my son was keen to avoid that, so he suggested we come up with a way to put removable armor on my default Hulk cutom:

He spent at least two hours scrounging armor-like components from my various stashes and then I remembered I had that old Indy artifact helmetn somewhere. I gave everything a battered/weathered dull silver wash and there we were.

Here's a shot of the boys going at it:
