This was mostly a technical test to see if my setup would work to record some videos. It's a pretty straight forward idea, but I'm pleased with how the chairs and the video came out.

PLEASE let me know if you have any thoughts about the video, suggestions, critiques, ideas for future content.

Thanks for doing that, DOTD -- it was quick, fun, insightful, and Jm7o approved!

My one helpful tip, I had to set up painters tape on my back drop to act as visual markers for where my hands are in relation to the camera. I've had to scrap whole videos because it either wasn't in focus or the bulk of what I was showing was off camera. So I tend to work directly off the video screen for the most part and the blue tape helps act as a guide when I have to look up occasionally to see what I'm doing better. If half the figure is above the tape, then I know people won't be able to see it.

But man, I got so excited when I saw the youtube email pop up. I posted it to our Facebook page within minutes.

My only concern is going through enough Krazy Glue to have the caps available in the first place.

I think I would be looking for materials I already have access to and then use the premise of this video to put it together.

If I had known about this BEFORE I started my current dio... I would have enough for 5 chairs already!

If you buy them in larger lots online, they'really pretty cheap per tube. Plus the outer tube and the green pin thing it comes with for piercing the super glue are all good fodder as well.

I have a nearby Ollies and a nearby Harbor Freight so I don't have to go online to get those big packs, cheap! They do come in handy, for sure!

I used the glue caps for the Star Trek bridge chairs years ago. They work well.

Since its the season for plastic eggs. You can take the bottom half of the easter egg and cut out the front of it to make a space age chair
