So, I got the box set, and my Collector arrived with 'frozen' or locked shoulder joints.

While trying to work them free, I wound up breaking/ripping one of the shoulder-bicep-pegs.

Chances are slim that I'll get a solution from Hasbro, so I'm trying to come up with a working solution myself. My initial idea is to find another black MU shoulder joint as a donor.

Any other suggestions, or suggestions for a donor figure?

Thanks in advance,
Jm7o

I've had such bad luck swapping shoulders on MU figures. They seem to be very inconsistent from one figure to the next. I think I'd try to save the existing peg either by gluing it or using a pon to reinforce what is left.

can you show us a pic of what you're fixing? Might help with parts ideas

It's the basic MU male buck, so you have a number of choices for black shoulders. The second Punisher, Black Bolt, Astonishing Cyclops, Adam Warlock, all use the same body in black. Unless you're planning to cut the peg, you'll need to crack the torso though, and I've found that to be tougher with MU than Joe.

agree with that, on the torso issue. You could also do the slice and splice shoulder mod I've been doing with HACKS shoulder joints. But it carries its own risks

I would try recreating the peg with a styrene rod before surgerating the chest or shoulder pin.
