Red Shadows. I guess because I didn't know about them until I was an adult and it was like this whole new villain group. Just like in real life there are multiple groups trying to take over the world.

Vypra. Trekker comes up with her bio and she disappears into oblivion. 2 comic companies with multiple titles, 5 cartoon incarnations, and a live action movie with not so much as a cameo. Even the GIJCC hasn't done anything with her newletter or FSS.

Good point, John!! Vypra needs some comic book action at least and her filecard as a transporter with melee fighting skills needs to be the basis of her characterization. Even if she's not a starring character in a storyline, Ann A. Conda deserves a couple appearances.


Chameleon FINALLY got a spotlight role in IDW. It's Vypra's turn next IMO.

OG in the IDW Cobra series the last few issues... great potential there.

I was just thinking about because I was reading some adventure team stuff on kindle, and I knew this thread existed. Thankfully I was able to find it. These groups make good adversaries for guys like the adventure team and action man.

I would mention a few more. Most I don't know much of the back story.

There's SKAR from gi joe extreme.

The the Black Dragon ninjas.

And also the night creepers were mercenaries.

I like the idea of Cobra-La and Cobra being separate, where Mindbender has been working for both, and using Cobra's genetic abilities to bring back Cobra-La.

I'm not too big on the idea of Cobra Commander being part of Cobra-La, unless you bring up Mysterious Stranger's idea that there have been multiple Cobra Commanders.
