Not sure if everyone's still waiting for their figures or if it just goes without saying, but the new fantasy wave is beyond radical when you see them in person. I loved the construction and detail of the Series 1 stuff, but I was lukewarm to the period, so they were purely custom fodder. These new guys, however, are something I've been wanting for years. The detail on the armor and accessories is a big step forward. Really phenomenal figures, and I can't wait until the second wave gets here so I can get my hands on that sweet skeleton-knight.

I managed to get three of the NJCC Exclusive Orc on ebay before this batch sold out. They are going to put them up in batches of 100 for the regular price of $30 until they sell out completely.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like they sold out a couple more batches of 100.

I may have gotten a little too excited. Hopefully they'll put up more pictures soon.

Mini-kit preorders are shipping. And they have a new Webstore exclusive Series 2 figure.

Got excited when I saw the announcement that you get get individual mini-kits. Then realized that they're still doing the stupid blind-bag model, which gives you a 1-in-18 chance of getting what you want - for only $5 a pop! Eff that.

Still blown away by the dudes in their 40s who are arguing that "trading is half the fun" with regard to the blind bags. Really? How many people are going to trade away all their "unwanted" Anubis kits? And who really wants the robot heads? Or more than 1 or 2 boxers? Are we Army-building Chtulululthululus with human bodies now? And how does trading help the folks overseas that have to pay an ass-ton in shipping for every little thing?

But on a positive note - the Elf Assassin Webstore Exclusive looks pretty sweet -- I snagged one last night when cashing in my gift card from buying Wave 2. Just wish I could grab a dozen or so Anubis and Rodent kits without all the blind-bag BS, though.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed the mini-packs are random, and there are no wave 2 accessory kits. :/

I mean the figures are nice, but their store has gotten rather customizer unfriendly.

And once again, same here.
