The Sword of Ymir

Sir Berikay discovered a frosty sword in the abandonded lair of a dead sorceror. Upon seizing it, his armor was transformed with icy crystals and a voice spoke in his head:

"O, man who would wield this blade; thou art to be my vengeance upon my enemies. This blade is lightning-forged from a bristle of Ymir's beard, scavenged from a battlefield of olde. You shall smite my hated ones, in my name; and never shall you cease in this endeavour until you or they are dead."

To his horror, Berikay is unable to release the blade, and has no idea whom this sorceror or his enemies were; but judging by the musty bones found in the straw bed in the next room he believes them all to already be dead for centuries.

Now he seeks to use the powerful sword and its icy blasts for good and a means to be relieved of the curse.

Berikay is a bash of the Schleich figure of the same name in their Eldrador line with a BFS Knight of Accord. Aside from the chest insignia all the armor is swappable with the Knight's original gear. I think the Berikay head looks a lot like mid-30s Powers Boothe.

All that grafting of bits really paid off here. Great backstory for him too.

Nice work on the parts. Really well done. The backstory is cool too, no pun intended.

Nice one!
Would've loved to see this in the MOTU line as well.
