Thanks. I was pretty pleased with the way it came together.

So I had all kinds of plans to check off boxes for characters we never got in 1:18 from the Universe/Legends line tied into the movies, but one of the most elusive finally came together for me:

I was cleaning up legos after my kids in the basement when the inspiration struck for Yellowjacket's crazy armatures. Then I just had to find a quasi-armored-suit body in (mostly) black to get started. That body is the weirdly colored Iron Man we got toward the tail end of Universe, repainted and modded with the aforementioned legos and a fun neon yellow clear-cast helmet I got as a throw in when I bought parts somewhere. Here's how he stacks up (or down) against the Legends Ant Man we got from the mini-movie Legends series:

And since I hardly ever get to post anymore, I might as well throw in something on this update: A head swap and accessory re-purposing job I pulled over Halloween:

I know the Ghost Rider movies aren't MCU, but since I gave Blade a shot last year, I thought Ghost Rider needed some love.

What do you guys think?

Actually, since I'm here, might as well post a couple other lower-effort updates:

I'd always loved the look of the WW2 Cap figure we got from The Winter Soldier movie line, but the short legs and lack of wrist/ankle articulation kind of killed it for me. Until I got bored and fixed them:

And at some point recently I was looking at my Age of Ultron Iron Man custom and realized he needed a little more work. So now he's got new lower arms and legs, plus some fresh paint:

Sorry to dump all these at once. Just not sure when I'll get another chance.

;-)

Very creative with that Yellow Jacket. It turned out great! And as 2DARK stated that Ghost Rider is AWESOME!

Thanks, guys.

I feel like there's more I can do with Ghost Rider's bike, but feeling pretty good about the general direction.

Great mods to Cap and that is an excellent use of the Zombie Viper helmet for YJ.

Thank you! I was totally wondering whose helmet that was!

As the year draws to a close, I'm trying to check the remaining boxes on my list of MCU-style customs, so today I'll be posting two.

First is a guy whose importance to the MCU really can't be overstated, and who I can honestly say I enjoyed more with each film he appeared in. Ragnarok may have been my favorite appearance, so I wanted a version of the character inspired by his look in that movie:

Next (and probably last for this year) is someone so foundational to the Avengers that I think she should probably be leading the team after Endgame. Here's my take on her Infinity War appearance:

It occurred to me as I was pulling BW:IW together that I have more versions of her than I thought. Below is the complete lineup from comic-inspired through Iron Man 2/Avengers, Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron up to the latest addition:

Ulrimately I'll want to get a hold of more Scarlett Johansen heads to truly match the faces, but these placeholders work for me for now.

What do you think?

That's actually the same Scarlet Jo head from the one second from the right. I just gave her a hair transplant.

The eye paint was slightly different on the unaltered head, but you couldn't really tell the difference before the hair swap.

the hair makes a big difference! I didn't/wouldn't of known it was the same head. the far right looks like a young version of the mom from that 70's show :)

I haven’t tackled Loki yet, so I’m taking notes. I like how clean this is.

I like where BW is going, but I agree you’ll need a scarJo head to make it complete. Another filler option would be the BW head from the Capcom set. I may have an extra ScarJo head. if you want me to dig around and look let me know.
