Yeah, not sure if I will finish him. That oversized noggin really bothers me. Shadow Weaver might be a pretty easy one though

Finally found Halo Heroes wave 8 (the remnants of it actually) locally after months and months of wave 3.
All three named characters were long gone, but I did get a Spartan Centurion. That orange and white armor looks pretty neat.

The Brute helmet works surprisingly well here. I take it you didn't have any extra He-Man figures to steal arms from?

Yeah, as soon as I saw the Brute helmet, I thought: "That's Ram-Man." And the legs were a great fit for his skirt without losing articulation. Just craft up a belt with a few extra pieces to fill in the front and back. As far as the arms, I actually started to use He-Man's arms, but the one thing that's always really defined RM for me is how he is flabby-strong. The original toy had those arms that you could tell were strong but kind of fat. Since every other MOTU character had the super-cut arms with highly defined, massive muscles, it was neat seeing him with just the bulk. So I had to have that on my figure and tried to get that look by smoothing out and bulking up some spare arms I had.

I bought one of those world smallest Barbie figures on a huge clearance and it came with sunglasses. Made a few copies out of resin in case I messed up. Trying to drill eye holes into something that small is very difficult. I could go with solid sunglasses look but I wanted to see the eyes underneath

This is a test. I designed Zartan from head to toe, including the T-bar that holds the torso together and legs on and the pins that hold the shoulders and the elbows in. The only thing I did not print are the hands because I wanted to test the compatibility with MC parts. The swamp skier is one of Jabberwock's designs from Thingiverse, heavily modified. I used a UV-sensitive filament to print in but it's hard to get good pictures of. By the time I get the filament to take color using a UV pen then get my phone ready for the pic, it starts to fade. I already know I'll reprint the head just a bit bigger and I need to rework the shoulders to be a bit smaller and the forearms need a bit of work. However, I'm overall happy with it and think with the tweaks planned and printing at a finer resolution, I'll have a Zartan to fit into my MC Cobra army.

Thanks guys. I'm actually very pleased with how the legs and crotch piece + belt turned out (the belt is a separate piece, just like on Mega Construx). I'm happy enough with them to use them as-is. I need to tuck in the shoulders more, shorten the forearms just a hair, and make the head wider. I measured off of a MC bald head figure to get the base dimensions, but the flare of the cowl threw me off a bit when scaling it and I scaled to it instead of the head underneath.

Looks like you're off to a pretty good start on the printing. I look forward to seeing it progress. I'm glad I bought crap loads of figures over the last few years. I have pretty much all the parts I could want. I also buy just about anything that looks like it could work in scale wise (heads, torsos etc).

Thanks. I have a lot of fodder figures, too, but some characters, like Zartan and his siblings, I want to get them in all their glory, even if I never use the feature. And I've found a few figures or accessories I just can't replicate with current offerings. (Plus, I'm hoping to expand into other lines that will require more unique parts down the road)

The zartan head from Sigma six isn't too bad. It's not as small as some of the others

Ok so I'm out of work for a week while recovering from surgery and decided to do some redos of some of my older Joe customs. As you can see some are nearly done while others are still very early. Nemesis Enforcer needed all most all new parts as he was done forever ago and much better parts have come along.

I just got a cancellation notice from BigBadToyStore for Mega Construx Heroes Series 4 Set of 6. Not sure if that just means they are not going to have the set of 6 or that whole wave is canceled? This is the Man at Arm wave... Any word on it otherwise that anyone else has heard?
