I've seen others report having this wave and some other stuff canceled. It's not looking good.

BBTS said that the wave was canceled by the manufacturer so yeah, it's dead.
That and the fact that Call of Duty is no longer shown on the official website when you click on the Worlds tab. It doesn't really smell good for the future.

I want to thank the Mega Brands corporation for everything they've put out since the implementation of the new articulation design. I've been a mini figure proponent and designer for years and the feeling I had when I first bought the Seal Team pack years ago is unrivaled by anything I've felt as a toy fan save the original ARAH joe line as a child.

If it's canceled ...eff it...it was fun while it lasted. Time to buy more smooth on and work on 3D designs. I've got zero hard feelings toward Mega.

Mattel on the other hand ....

Are we sure the brand is dead? I know they have stuff lined up but maybe they decided to cancel the heroes line to make it into something else. The CoD has been off the site for awhile now and we are still getting stuff little by little. I don't want to give up on the line just yet. I think they might have some life left.

I was at Fred Meyer yesterday, and they had the Probuilder Train Robbery on sale for $83.99. I think it was $108 full price. They also had the Coast Guard Helicopter. I think that was under $50. Fred's is a West Coast box store. I was shocked to see these two sets, but I really don't have room to put them. That Train Robbery set looks like a ton of fun. Especially after playing so much Red Dead lately. They had a box of Halo Figures that had an older woman scientist type. I picked her up, and two of the moray eel looking aliens that were in the same box. I would grab more Halo figures if most of them didn't use the shorter forearms.

I hope they're re-rigging the format of the figures into something more straight-forward as a toyline. The brickplay may have been what got Mega's foot in the door but it's become an albatross around their neck, imho. I don't have a lot of hope for the retail market for such a transformation, however.

I'd be fine with just releasing the figures in 4 or 5 packs (like they did with the CoD and Halo figures) but cut out the pack-in brick stuff and if they want to release vehicles for them, make them just standard vehicles (not brick builds) with maybe a couple discrete pegs for attaching figures. It won't happen but it would be nice. Get them out of the brick aisle and stop the comparison to Lego that really hurts them. Heck, they look different enough from the Pokemon/American Girl/Monster High builds that they could branch them off into their own line - Mega Mattel or something so there's no link to the brick aspect at all anymore.

And on a brighter note, the Man-At-Arms/Evil-Lynn wave is not canceled, just delayed.

New images of the Wind Raider. I like the look of it; not so bricky that it looks like a brick-build but still compatible with them.

I managed to snag 2 more Teelas from 5 Below today and found a hidden Dr. Halsey at Walmart. Good haul
Too bad Beast Man doesn't have the muscular arms like He Man and Skeletor. I miss finding extras of those 2 for parts.

One of the FB groups is trying to become an MB distributor, fwiw.

I also saw the StarLink ships are on sale at Target for $12.50, and an MB dude will fit in the cockpit once the pilot is cut off the stand.

Redid Zartan's arms and head. The arms still look a bit wonky to me, but they're the same size as Mega Construx arms, so I'm happy enough with them:
