I picked up Series 4 minus Hellboy but with 2 Evil Lyn figures. I was mildly surprised considering they weren't expected for months.

Thanks a lot! I'll take a little detour after work.

Walmart turned out to be a dud, but TRU Anjou had pretty much a full case, so I was able to get the characters I wanted.
Kratos has two right shoulders...

2 right shoulders....

So he has two right arms? That's a major oversight by quality control if so. That reminds me of the HALO Jackals that were being found with no heads in the package lol.

At least customer service will send you a replacement figure for free.

I'm going to check mine now.

The left forearm is okay, it's just the upper arm.
The other one in the case had a terrible paint job on its face. The end of the red line ended up on his nose...

Very pleased with this bunch nonetheless. I didn't get any terminators or Ezio.

Just saw this on the MC message boards saying, "Just got a production sample of an upcoming set, but which one?"

Guys, do you realize what this means is probably coming?!

Isn't that one of Grayskull's throne room flags?
If it's real, I hope MC is finally going all-in into a MOTU line.
I'm still hoping that they'll release a full line of single card figures instead of sprinkling them two at a time into the Heroes line.

With the success of the new She-Ra cartoon, I'm surprised that they haven't announced She-Ra MC sets yet.
I hope that they'll do, as long as they are compatible with the rest of the MC characters and not with the taller dolly type figures.

Yup, that's one of the flags from Greyskull. That and the 'spacesuit' were two of my favorite details on the Castle when I was a kid, so it's etched into my memory. As soon as I saw it, I squeed like a schoolgirl.

I'd like to see them release the whole line, too, and I'd even be fine with them doing them as two-pack 'VS' -- putting the ones who are, or were meant to be, rivals together (like He-Man/Skeletor, Moss-Man/Stinkor, Fisto/Jitsu, etc.) I'd prefer single packs for ease of picking and choosing custom fodder, but to get them on shelves, I'd take them any way.

Yeah, a She-Ra line would be great, but based on the new cartoon and their trend with 'girl brick figures', I have a feeling they'd just use the Monster High styling for the line, so they wouldn't really be compatible.

Off topic sort of for a sec, because I don't know how ot feel about prepro MegaConstrux yet and whether or not that means a flag staff is coming with a figure or the playset is coming.

I was at Claire's with the kid and by the register they had arcade cabinet keychain blind bags. For $7 I figured even if they weren't electronic (because they do have some weight to them), they would still look cool. Plus Joust and Spy Hunter. Opened them up and not quite Joe scale and also, giant blocks of hard rubber. But they are MegaConstrux scale. Neat, but not something I'd have a ton of interest in beyond the ones I got. If nothign else, you could fill up your eventual Castle Grayskull with them.

She -Ra is coming... (bottom right beast).

Just like we knew He-Man was coming after we kept seeing new body parts show up in various Mega sub lines well in advance of the official release rest assured that winged horse mold is gong to get some mileage as Swift Wing.

A MegaConstrux Castle Grayskull has been rumored for a while now. We'll see for sure if they reveal it at Toy Fair next week.

@Suntzu - The funny thing is, when I saw that horse the first time, I thought, "That'd be good for a She-Ra custom" but didn't even think about the possibility of that being why they have it to begin with.

@MysteriousStranger - I knew Greyskull had been rumored for some time but I always chalked it up to as much wishful thinking as anything. But the reveal of one of the castle banners has me kind of excited.

ETA:

Been doing more customs, too. I really love the Mega-verse for customizing.

Made a Sy-Klone I'm not too pleased with but he'll do for now (Faker with Skeletor arms, drilled out torso with layers of paint and resin for the radar detail, Faker's hair, boots, and fur diaper all smoothed out, and Teela's shield):

Also had my original custom He-Man from when the Movie TMNT figures were out way back before any MOTU stuff had hit. Since I had a real He-Man to replace him, I turned my custom into my take on Wun-Dar (need to touch up the paint on the joints):

there were about a half dozen of these guys on the clearance isle of a Walmart here in MS tonight, all marked $1. I had them in my buggy but couldn't justify buying them right now. i'm only in for fodder in joescale and rumbler scale. check your local clearance :)

It blows my mind every time I read someone came across Mega Construx single figures for $1.

The joints alone are worth that price. I'd probably buy strawberry shortcake mega figures for $1 just for the parts lol.
