Finally nabbed the 2pack and I feel like a nitwit. No interest in all the figure stands or Jonesy so I ended up paying $40 for Raven just to finally inspect him in-hand and the dude's got no face! I'm gonna have to get something else in there that's not the two eyes sitting atop those weird cylinders projecting off the smooth surface of 'nothingness'.

I don't get the cathode rod he carries, either.

I still dig the line and look forward to Series2; but I shoulda paid more attention here.

It's his "harvester" from the game (really feeling geeky now). I bought this set since it dropped to $30 on Amazon. My boy complained about that, because its way smaller that it looks in the game, where the pickaxe looks closer to the "right" size. They've done that with several figures, it sounds like.

For $30, I think its worth it, but I'm happy with the stands. I've built a couple dioramas with the pieces - one for me to display figures, the rest to let my kid play with.

They are stylistically not that far from the 4 inch line... I'm thinking the heads and accessories will work for both scales.

The Battle Bus vehicle looks fudgeable maybe as a "short bus" vehicle for Joes.

I've been wanting 'Random Street Goons' for metric decades now and I grabbed 4 of the Skullys for just that purpose. Now I need to ship my Hiya Batman so their asses can get beaten.

I passed on the FireFly due to having him better already but will probably pick him up down the road for grins.

The Visitor was the same higher price point Omega was in the first Series, and comes with 4 clear blue figstands, a pack, and one of the umbrellas nobody really cares about. He reminds me a lot of Supreme Power Nuke.

I've no idea why my rinky-dink cow-town WalMart is apparently the first on the planet to get them in; but I assume it's because I'm awesome and the Universe loves me.
