If these are decently priced and not too hard to get I will check them out

They seriously need to drop the brickplay feature. Make a toyline focused on the Construx format (with maybe more normal proportions) with proper vehicles and modular playsets and you've got gold, Jerry; GOLD.

This is exactly what I want. Make them the Mego of today, getting all the licenses they can and producing them in a standard scale. It's small enough they can have big vehicles without taking up too much space, yet big enough to allow actual use of the figures. Things like Castle Grayskull could easily be half the price of this release if they don't have the brick feature upping the complexity count. I'd like better proportions, but don't see that happening because of the durability factor (plus, why change now?).

What would better proportions look like? I've advocated for the same thing in the past but now ...i'm not sure what can actually be done (outside of losing the stud accommodating lower leg hole for smaller feet) while still maintaining a 2'' height. I have a few accurately scaled 2'' figures that i had hoped to add articulation to using MC parts and unfortunately they are too small. The more i look at them the more i realize that , short of custom made joints like i've made in the past, these accurately scaled 2'' figures aren't going to have the full range of articulation that Mega figures have. At best they'd have a Dianaut style articulation which both simultaneously makes me happy and irritated. ...i need swivel biceps or the equivalent.

Better proportions might look like the 2.5 inch HASBRO mini Avengers figures but then i'd silently complain about them being too tall.

Better proportions at the 2 inch scale is basically.. Jada Toys Halo figures (also lacking swivel biceps unless you make them yourself).

Yeah, that's kind of what I meant by the durability thing. At this size, if they want to keep marketing them as toys, they just can't really go any smaller. But if they were to drop the toy aspect and market strictly toward collectors, then prices would jump quite a bit, making them not as appealing.

At one point i seriously considered going all in on Jada Toys HALO line and articulating the mid arms of each. and. every. one . of . the . figures.

Thank everything good in the universe that Mega Bloks (at the time) released the newly articulated figures right before i did. The amount of work saved....

I haven't given up on Dianaut bicep swivels just yet but redesigning the arms makes me feel like i did when i was working on the Jada Toys figures. Making 1 or 2 is fine but a whole army / collection? Shhhhieeeeettttt. Mega looks better and better every time i look up from working on 1.5mm diameter tubes.

Yeah, I've tried printing out figures on my DLP printer at that scale with articulation, using paper clips or 24ga wire for the pins. It's a lot of work for something that doesn't function as well as I would like.

Man, they really need to upgrade the hands to look less clip-ish. Keep the interior grip surface but sculpt up the exterior to look realer, like the CoD hands got.

I agree with you on the hands. For my Clawful custom, I used a Lego (well, generic Lego) hand for the small claw and it's not that noticeable that it's different from the regular MC hands.

So this thread has been dead for awhile now. Thought I would bump it with some new customs...
