I've been replacing the heads entirely for the few that need it. There's no sculpting to the eyes, just paint on a smooth surface like them stupid Mattel Young Justice figures had. Most of them don't show the eyes at all and thus are fine. And yeah, their 'out of proportionality' is being way overblown, imho.

My daughter loves them. I keep putting them away, or meaning to, and she keeps digging them out, despite some of her own, to play with. So she does that last night and I'm taking another look at the spray painter girl and I realize that with a different head that is a solid start on a Squirrel Girl.

Yeah, I stole those pics from some NJ Twitter guy, and heard of another purchase in League City, TX (my neck of the woods); both found at GameStop. I'll go lookseeing this wknd; but feel like I'll end up getting them off Amazon. There's much too much wave 1 box sets pegwarming for me to believe these will get refreshed. There's also a 2nd pinata set, but no pic and I don't recall who comes in it.

Gamestop is your best bet at the moment. If you are buying a bunch if them, take advantage of the sale where you pay $4.99 for a character (Thanos, Mario, or Goku) canvas bag and get 20% off anything you can fit inside it. I saved over $20 getting the new 4pk, 2pk builder set and pinata today.

Finally got around to buy some of these. I bought the Toxic and Skull troopers.

The price point is a bit high up here as these seem to be imported by Walmart through some company instead of being ordered from Jazware directly.
So they cost $18 cdn each and that's before taxes. A bit pricey to army build, but wave one is getting "rolled back" to $13 so it might happened to these as well when an eventual wave 3 pops out.

Anyways, they are nicely designed and I really like how these figures are built.
The middle ball joint makes it pretty easy to switch the legs from a figure to the other. Feels like the evolution of the O-ring as it holds everything in place.

I ordered the Rust Lord pinata set as the figures looks pretty cool and it comes with a ton of accessories.

I picked several up on clearance for 6.50 and the 4 pack for 20. They seem decent, I haven’t tried taking them apart yet, they seem to not be selling that well around here.

I've been using a head gun to take apart figures instead of boiling, but the hands are soft enough they can deform under that heat. I'm just being impatient and know I should be boiling instead of using direct heat, but just a heads up to anyone else working with these guys.
