Yeah, saw Mer-Man in other pics after I posted that. No, Moss Man is not flocked. I think the SDCC one is but the wide-release is just molded in green.

So the SDCC reveals made me want to do some pics of my MC-MOTU collection thus far. So I set up a quick dio using the figures and an Assassin's Creed set. In my MOTU-verse, I mix a bit of '80's MOTU lore with the 200X stuff. Evil-Lyn is the daughter of the Faceless One and an unknown woman. E-L's dad broke the pact that brought peace to Eternia by marrying and having a child and so was cursed to become the faceless one. To spare his wife and child from his curse, he cast them into the future. However, they were separated in transit and his wife set up a stronghold to defend against her husband's enemies and protect the mystical artifacts he had entrusted to her, while E-L was seemingly lost. In the dio, the AC set is the stronghold for E-L's mom, which Skeletor and E-L had uncovered and decided to attack and steal the mystical McGuffins within. He-Man and the heroes rush to help her defend her place from Skeletor and the forces of evil.

I am super stoked to see Point Dread and the Talon Fighter, Battlecat and Panthor. I really hope they find a way to release a full Battle Ram because the Sky Sled looks lonely. Anything else beyond that is gravy.

Oh and the Game of Thrones display was off the hook! The dragons are HUGE!

I really like the character selection of the Iron Throneroom set. I kinda fear the GoT line is dead in the water due to the fan rejection of S8; but I'd enjoy lots of figures of GoT characters.

A GoT line....maybe Mega Construx will do some nude figures that customizers can work with.

I doubt that. The closest they've done is the Cortana figure and even that they tried to make sure it didn't look nude. They're pretty strict on their kid-friendly stance about such things (and I'm fine with that, since these are toys). I'd be happy if they released some figures in leotards, like the Teela figure with the adornments taken off.

I was in Dollar General a bit ago and I saw some CoD sets I don't recall seeing at other stores. Was in a hurry, so didn't get any pics but they were at the $16 price point. Also saw some of the CoD Heroes single packs (the pilot ace wave).

Not optimistic at finding anymore Mega Construx at retail -- stopped in my local Wal-Mart and Target the other day. Wal-Mart has reset and has no space for Mega stuff anywhere. Target has gotten rid of all their non-Lego brick stuff and is now a full aisle and a half of Lego and that's it.

My target still has mega. Walmart is clearancing everything out...

don't know if its all Kroger's stores, but King Soopers was clearing out 1/2 their Mega Construx sets. Couldn't resist getting another 5 pack of MOTUs for $10.

Slapped the fishbowl noggin from one of them li'l Fortnite figures of Leviathan onto an MB CoD Astronaut and gave him an extra ManAtArms pistol..Everybody say hello to Dr Filet:
