Love this! I agree some more precise paint matching would push it into the stratosphere.

my animal planet buggy/jeep looks more like the fortnite golf cart than anything like a hotrod. by the time I cut away everything I think I could just scratch build a frame up bucket T.

that perfect base will show up. then I can bust out "joe's garage" and get to buiding.

a dollar tree chopper will make for a good fit I think.

never really wanted to make GOTG ,but I had some Disney infinity figures in a huge lot of skylanders I got for fathers day. just looking for something to work on (besides the hundred things already started) that was fun and used parts on hand.

I started with rocket, then tried to scale off him. I know he is big for our scale, but i'm pretty happy with the amount of articulation I got in him.




group so far. rocket,starlord,gamora (black widow) are infinity heads. groot is a head I've had for several years, dragon ball z maybe? drax is a wrestling rumbler head, kane maybe?

i just got this fortnite rustlord figure, and was thinking he would be a really good lbc starlord.i added the ufc head, and for now i'm sticking with my leaner joe based starlord. this guy might get a blue paint to be yando? I don't like the shinguard boots, not even on mtf figures. they just seem unnecessary and clunky.



I had that huge gun in my trade box, I think it looks good for drax from what I remember from the movie.


since my rocket scaled big, and 5 fingers, and no doggie legs, I decided to make it a wee man in a furry suite I know this breaks cannon but I like it.

I really need a red coat for her.

some experimenting with hot glue. I've had really good success with hotglue on dios lately and decided to try it on figures.




it took a couple tries on ratfink to get it right. first I had some on the body side, but it was such a tiny bit it broke off with just minimal moving. the neck is pinned to the head w/ hotglue in there too.




this is a terror bird skull for my future trophy wall. it is an older dollar tree bird skull with a skylander crab guy head. I know hotglue will hold up on static pieces, but this was my first go at "sculpting" it for small details. I think once painted it will really add to the piece.



this was my dragon wip for a long time. then I started another dragon and this got chopped off for a trophy skull. it's a rubber dragon with lots of aves sculpting and a dollar tree skeleton bird jaw. I added hotglue in places to try and fix some areas I don't like. I really didn't want to use more expensive skulpt medium on a piece I really don't care for. hopefully the hotglue will hold up.

with destro for scale




this is a 5" terra queen. I got the idea to use the head from my ratfink base figure as a witch. just for fun.
