Until Mattel/Mega figure out their distribution issue, I pretty much just rely on Ebay and Amazon to fill out my collection.

I don’t mind paying $9.99 instead of $4.99 every 3-4 months for a figure I want, especially since my local Walmart & Target don’t stock them.

Got very lucky and scored a Scareglow from an online buddy who bought a case to help out fellow Mega collector friends, otherwise I woulda been SOL.

Scareglow, Stratos, Gray Alien, and blue Xeno are great figures. It’ll be interesting to see where else they use Mulder’s suit pieces

My preoders for the Stratos wave on Amazon are beng cancelled one figure at a time. So far Stratos, Scareglow, the blue Alien and Donatello have been cancelled. I expect Mulder and the Gray Alien to ne cancelled soon. Sucks because I can’t ever find these locally. I really just need Stratos and Scareglow if anyone can help me out.

When my preorders were cancelled about a month ago, the web page didn't give an option to reorder. Now, I see its up again with the "one to three month delivery time". I'm considering rolling the dice and putting in another preorder just to see - I really want those aliens.

Eh, I put in a P/O for a trio of the Grays. If I get them they'll make perfect standins for SG1 Asgard and if I don't they won't.

The lack of availability is not surprising.

The model seems to be:

-Produce one run, sell out
-Produce another run, sell out
-Produce a large run that stays in stock
-Get bootlegged

I’m guessing Mattel saw how well this specific wave did this summer and wants to get the big production run ready & shipped for Holiday 2019, hence the cancellation and new ETA closer to Black Friday.

My local Target is getting stocked much more reliably with new product now (Pokemon & Halo). Hopefully we’ll see all the new MotU stuff in 2020, since He-Man is non-licensed and sooo recognizable even to Grandparents (who were parents in the 80s) now.

To snag this series, I’ve had the most luck via Ebay and fellow collectors helping me out. One Instagram buddy was so frustrated that he ordered a case and then sold the figures at cost + shipping.

The X-Files Gray is one of my favorite toys of 2019. Mega dominates this year for me, actually, and I can’t wait to see what they do next year.

WTF is Hasbro even doing? It’s like they’re picking their boogers, gazing at the big ones, and eating them, hahaha

Sweet Zombie Primus are these beautiful action figures. I would enjoy more artic in their bug modes, but their botmode artic, transformation complexity, and materials construction is flat-out amazing for this size. I dunno if he deserves to win it since MasterMade put stuff out this year, but Kickback absolutely deserves to be nominated for 3P TF of the year just for his pelvis engineering that enables him to flip it back for TFing and yet still swivel in bot mode. Just spectacular work. I need another 2 sets to make trios of Originals with Drone Duplicates, but will have to do some figuring to decide on which sets to get. I want glossy black for the Originals, I'm thinking.

I have some pieces of MegaBloks HALO figures...almost enough to build two figures. One is a soldier of some sort, the other looks like some sort of organic infected "thing" (I don't really know much about the game or it's characters). Anyway, there are a few missing pieces. What I have is free to a good home.

Found the new series of singles at King Soopers (Krogers) today. The X-Files Grey is totally awesome. They did a really good job on Mulder - now when will we get Sculley? The one I was really disappointed in was Scareglow - I actually left him there.

The one idea I had with the Greys - I bought a Kessel Run Falcon at Burlington's the other day. Putting the Greys in the cockpit, I thinking the Falcon would be better suited as a vehicle for them. Just need to make a new cockpit seating area.

Great price for the Mars Rover. Bought up Toys R Us’s stock on clearance when they were going out of business, and highly recommend the set.

Used the extra figures and MCX fodder to bash together some new specialists like a medic, aquanaut, etc.

Really wish MCX would expand their space sets, but doubt it’s going to happen. Can barely find it at retail as it is.

Grabbed one of the Game of Thrones dragon eggs. My daughter has one of the slime dragons from the regular series so I was expecting some similar. Much better. No slime. Soft rubbery wings. This thing could be a 1:1 hatchling prop, a 1:36 megaconstrux adult dragon, or a 1:18 ridable pet dragon.
