thanks for posting this. for those of us that can't go it's really nice to see. it is about a years worth of processing what I am looking at, but it is all awesome!

I just finished looking through the pics! great stuff! here are my questions!

humungous? who made him and anyone know what head?
mini jc table. who made this? 3d printed?
shoebox dio for charlie brown, never seen b4?
gcpd who? pic of man in office, holding leatherface?
cargo container pic. a bunch of types outside a dio. are these cardboard?
longbow, someones o-ring toy line?
jc chest stickers and collector cards, can I buy some?

and my favorites so far!
convict commander is really clever!
GCPD !!! it just keeps going!
comic book store. all those "hero's" sitting around while joe gets things done!

I was franticly scouring pics for some remnant of myself, anything.
boom heman has my sword! thanks drbindy!

I really need to get something on the jc table. I think pluv brought the ballhog a few years ago and it made me proud to see it. i'll try and get a list of things that might make the cut, and i'm willing to part with.

Can you post which one you are talking about? I think the one you think that is, is by HypnoHustler and is based on a figure from a knock off line.

Mostly me. It is going up in the gallery tomorrow, so you can see the full parts list. MarkM did 3D print the mini SNAKE armor, and J-Man 3D printed the horse head. The rest is from all over.

Cap made that for us for inspiring his shoebox dioramas. We've displayed every year, but swap out who all is displayed in it.

GIJoeKing, the local Iowa diorama guy we've paired with for the past few years. He does an amazing job of blending minimal structures with picture prints and external textures to give us, the audience, straight up movie magic.

Again, GIJoeKing. The cross hatched containers are mini desk organizers you can find at walmart in the school/office supplies. The others are a mix of wood and plastic blocks with printed stickers.

Daren Howlett, Troy McKie, and John Kukovich are planning to launch a new 3 3/4" Cold War line. Soft hands with swivel wrists. As soon as they share more than what is shown, we'll post it.

Possibly already set aside for you. ;)

My two personal favorite things to do at the JC table is 1) answer with "An entiry commuity of cusotmizers," when people ask us, "Who made all this?"; and 2) find out which customs catch particular people's fancy. That last one serves as sort of an ice breaker when someone is lurking by the table, but also lets us gauge which types of customs people are interested in seeing. It is hardly ever the same exact custom and never, ever for the same reasons.

No idea who made that one. I think the head is the ReAction figure Jason Voorhes because it is the only bald head with top and side straps I've seen with that type of mask.

The upper body is Hasbro's Zangief from the Street Fighter line and the lower body is Heavy Duty v. 1.

Ooof, right in the feels. I've been scrolling through the pictures all week. I'm disappointed it didn't work out for me to be there this year, but I'm so glad the pictures got posted so I can see a little of what I missed out on.

Some thoughts and questions on the photos:

That Night Boomer poster with the jet coming off the page is GREAT.

Is this a new space from last year? How was it?

Anyone know where that boat in custom dio/vehicle number 8 is from? I've been searching for something to use as a tower/raised bridge on an airship idea and that looks like it might be perfect. Also, I love that dio!

The 10 for $35 deal has so much photoshop potential. Like, just paste over the sign with next year's AR info and you've got the promotional poster.

Love the mini-display table with the mini Night Force Bivouac.

AND I just realized that's a mini white shelf unit behind it!

:shifty: is the leaf in the mini fodder bin a reference to the surprise in the box from a few years back :shifty:

Love the shot of the trading card with the figure! So glad the came out good! Someone hold onto a few of these for me to stick in my Impel binder!

Stupid everyone making me miss getting to see their stupid faces. Seriously.

Well the diorama's are amazing. That's solid stuff. I feel like I almost recognize that Arbco Inudstries boat... like some Barbie or Bratz cruise liner or something? But everything looks to scale. Anyone know what the base was?

Definitely miss not getting to see the new Ragin' Spoon stuff! Glad he's still doing some casting too.

I was about to say Longbow was going way to heavy on all the deck crew figures, like, okay, launch a new 'Joe style line but who's going to buy a bunch of deck crew? And then I realized people buying the deck crew to man their Flags could very well carry a lot of financial burden of the line. That's a lot of recolors from a launch line, but a pretty brilliant way to get a lot of miles out of the tooling. Seems like smart move, hope it works for them!

The illustrations got my curiosity... those model sheets got my attention!

Colors on the Toxo-Hurrican are great! Skystorm and Windmill are awesome!

That Next Generation Warfare set up is great stuff.

Really sorry I missed this, looks like a really great time. Hope everyone enjoyed it!

The lack of horse masks is disappointing.

I had one set aside for you, but someone cut me off on the highway on the way back and the posters landed and rolled a contianer of slime I dind't even know was in the car. Got my sleeping bag too.

Right next door to last year's space. This is where it was supposed to be last year, but the space wasn't ready. It is designed as a shared office space. JC was set up in the conference room wtih a sliding barn door that everyone loved when we opened it up. Maybe we should bring some WD-40 next year.
