Based on Inferno, we might finally get Wild Card in 4"!
This line keeps on getting more and more interesting.

My wife asked me why I collected it since I never even tried the game, I told her that, for me, it combined a colorful cast of characters like MOTU and TMNT had with the fun and playability of GI Joe.

The only answer needed is 'because I like *toys* and not *games*', imho. I've never understood fools who judge the worthiness of an action figure based on the media it comes from. Hell, I don't even particularly like GI Joe canon, lol.

And Vendetta should be amazeballs since he's on the best buck in the line. That'll be the one a shiatload of [LASER BLAST]' Iron Man customs will be made from, imho; and every one will be a fundamentally better figure than the entirety of the IM2 line if only due to lacking them ass-stupid movie hips.

All that but magically without having a cartoon... And only a few vehicles so far.

I haven't wanted to buy every figure in the line but some have been too fun to ignore.

Found Inferno. Removed the black on the legs and the orange on the neck and a head swap later, have the first of what will be a few henchmen for Joker.

On another note, I bought the UK exclusive Squad Mode box set.

Man, that Mission Specialist is sooooo cool. I hope it'll get rerelease on card and in various color. he could be the new major Matt mason.

The Mission Specialist is getting a Stateside release in a special builder set that comes with all new pieces to build a Expedition Outpost playset. It should be out any day now.

Nice photos. Love that funky jungle and those Trogs look good in snow.

Dark Voyager is pretty much Mission Specialist in black, except with the visor down. Can swap another head on and have him holding the helmet.

That said, I'd be down for more with head and visor-up helmet combo, but don't know if there are others in the game?

What I'd really love is for them to make the female astronaut skins/figures.

Mission Specialist, Dark Voyager and Leviathan are essentially the same mold (aside from heads/helmets), but there are some subtle design elements that differentiate them: the raised symbols on the forearms, shoulders and chest harnesses are different on each figure.

Yeah, the different symbols on the chest harnesses in particular are a really nice design touch. And Mission Specialist has a cool one with the ringed planet. If I can pick up a bunch, they can be my Saturnian forces.
