That totally works. I dont think you even have to use the marauder specifically, but I definitely think it had a similar style to the tank section.

It doesn't need to be the Maraduer but man if I can find a good price for one it's gonna be made that way.

I’m hoping to get these done tomorrow. The little green one is gonna be another transformer disguised as a drone. All I’m gonna do is seal it up then weather it a bit.

The “bird” will be a Decepticon spy. It’ll get a full priming and repaint.

I have a small handful of other Transformers to bring into my verse. Not many though.

Last ones tonight, maybe.

Porgs. I dig these little guys. And when I learned the reasoning behind them I liked them even more.

This is based loosely on a character I created back when I was 12. I had dreams of being a comic book artist. I even successfully got accepted to the Joe Kubert School as a transfer student, something they just didn’t do back then (long story on how it all happened and how I ended up not going). Anyway, I created an entire universe of characters and had plotted out the birth and eventual death of verse. I always saw it as having a definitive end. One of my most popular hats tees from the time I was 12 all through college was a character I named Minstrel. His look was less inspired by Minstrels of old and more as a Jester but seeing that Jester was already a character I just ran with Minstrel.

I’ve always wanted to do something with my universe and when I saw the building figure set for a Jester I knew I had to mess with a version of my character.

So here it is in WIP form. There still quite a bit for me to do.

what is the porg story? looks like little penguins.

that minstrel is interesting. i really like how you kept the idea alive all this time! i have some lego-ish jack-n-the box pieces i'll track down to send with those vehicle parts. i have been saving them for someone, i just didn't know who.

Porgs are from the new Star Wars movies. A bunch of scenes were shot on a small island where a super large flock of Puffins lived. Rather than trying to edit the Puffins out of shots or worse get rid of the Puffins, which they weren't allowed to do, they turned them into Porgs. So when you see the scenes where the island is covered in them each one is actually a real Puffin.

Thanks. I've always wanted to do something with my comic universe but I've never had the time to draw the comics out, I figured this was a good way to do something. I have a whole bunch of characters but there are really only two more that I want to make figures of, a character named Bloodshed and another named Camotose (yeah I was really original with names, it was the 90s).

Some new stuff to add to my ongoing list of projects.

Ladytron. Just waiting for arms.

Image

This is going to become Goofy.

Image

Vampire Teddy

Image

Crimson Shadow Guard. If anyone has any extra CG belts I’m looking for up to 10 of them.

Image

Not quite sure yet.

Image

I’m working on three of these. There were going to be “exclusives” for a small toy show I was going to be at doing live custom demonstrations. The show was cancelled cause of Covid-19. I still plan to finish them and hold onto them till the show is rescheduled.

Image

This is my previously show Nick Fury figure minus head and coat. It’s gonna become some sort of survivor type. He’s going to ride a dirt bike. That’s about as far as I’ve gotten.

i'm digging the moto survivor a lot. I showed the vampire teddy to our 7 yr old grand and she just said "creepy" I agree but add that I like it!

the 3 exclusives look like they could go many ways depending on paint. I could see them as blue, red, or gray cobra troops, or night viper, alley viper,
etc.

“Creepy” from a kid is the best compliment I could get.

Here are a couple new WIPs.

A Corps figure I’ve been meaning to do for years. I saw someone repaint these probably ten years ago and I have two, this one and one without the mask. Finally decided to start painting them.

Image

This one I’ll let y’all guess. It’s a Transformer that’ll be paired up with a certain someone.

Hmm, I'd guess Scooter and either A.J. Foster or Nick Ward.
