I was able to sucessfully utilize the Green lantern paralax toy i got at discount from TRU years ago. also used up junky gi joe battleforce vehicle and extra fodder i had laying around. OF course i had to add him into my cobra nazi zombie lore. I used alot of new techiques on this custom as well. I actually used screws opposed to super glue and epoxy. WAYYYYY better as far as durability and its structurally sound. Also did some heavy weathering on both figure and tank. I wanted to give the effect of wet mud on tank treads so I used cheap acryilic paint mixed with a gloss medium and added cinnamon . This is a technique i see model railroaders use. Worked great.

As you can see this is some type of monster zombie creature cooked up in the depths of the third reich. Part machine part creature powered by high voltage electro current and compound Z of course. Equipped with 88 mm howitzer cannon. Chest bursting action that can grab a figure and pull them into his chest as they slowly decompose......

However i dont really know what to call him . open to ideas. Thinks i like are

Das Reaper
Zersetzt (German translation of "Decomposed")

Hello nightmares my old friend. Don't know when I'll go to bed again. In my dreams this will be creeping. So now I won't be sleeping, with this running through my head, cause I'll be dead.

looks strait off an iron maiden t-shirt. in the best freaking creeping fantastic way! the actual german translation of iron maiden is eiserne Jungfrau (via google) but is not as powerful imho. i love it, id sit it on my nightstand and look upon it while falling asleep :)

i think iron maiden fits very well especially if it pulls you into it's chest.

US Army : Woodchuck

So i needed a good United States Gi joe WW2 era sci fi vehicle. I actually got the idea for this from that movie Sucker punch. I had the perfect base from the robotech mech and honestly it looked pretty good without to much modification. I knew i wanted to incorporate buzzsaws into the mix. I ordered from lego the buzz saws and found these arms in my pile of fodder ( i think Zoids). By the pics you cant tell but buzzsaws fully spin and arms are fully posable . Machine guns on side are from SS p-40 warhawk w/ added bullet belts. I needed a good commander for my WW2 army so i used a simple Gen. hawk version, just swaped legs out. Also added the rocket booster on the back giving the idea that this bad boy can fly and drop bombs .

Love Woodchuck, great use of the Lego saw blades. I've got them laying around too somewhere for a custom Monster Mind, really should pick up that project again. Your robot is very inspiring, so who knows!

I created MK figures a few years ago and never really had the proper background / fighting arena for them. I wanted a multi level diorama that i could display everyone. IF you have ever played any Mortal Kombat games you know that the levels and places you fight are all over the top morbid, scary, hellish and bizzare. It is made from plywood and random scrap wood. I used 99 cent vinyl flooring tiles from lowes for flooring and some walls. Other items used, Foam board, insulation board, nails (for spikes in floor) halloween decor, legos, Mumm Ra figures, 2 part resin epoxy for toxic waste and skull fountain.

This was a very fun build and although they are not exactly like the game arenas, they mimic closley the idea behind them and gives my own creative design to all of it.
