thanks spin doctor! i'm trying to use the ones i have up, but some like the animal team might get reused for something else. there just isn't a lot to use them for, there are a bunch i don't have that look super useful lol.

Thanks pluv. One thing for sure is I like bashing and building a lot more than painting. I have a huge backlog of wips that just needed paint, but by the time I get to them other updates happen aswell.

here is the bow i was talking to sgcaper about in his thred. it is a standard bobby pin unbent, then reshaped as a crude bow. the "string" is wire. i had to mock up a grip so that is just masking tape. the fortnite figure was the only one out of a dozen i tried who could both hold the bow and achieve the proper stance w/string pulled and keep it posed.



i had to dig around to find this as i made it over a year ago at work. i shot toothpicks with one flat end and was sticking in cardboard at a few ft away. at that time i ordered some extra wide bobby pins some "elastic-ish" beading wire, and a crimper with tiny metal crimps. after breaking several of the wider metal pins i got frustrated and never got back into it. i need to try again.

here is my evil rocketeer i showed a while back. i tried carving his fin off a bossfight gladiator helm then pinning it on. that was a failure so i dremelled a channel and glued in a shaped plastic scrap.

1st attempt alongside type of plastic strap i used.


i also cut the peg off the fn jetpack and reinstalled a higher one to lower the pack.

i'm digging the "hood ornament" profile.

back in this thred you can see these "mickey" parts on my spray paint tray. i also painted some on ratfink to blend the head and body and added the venom tongue. heads are zipper pulls and old lotr golem bodies.

i moved mickeys head to the top and filled in the old neck hole to give him a different stance. he has doc ock boots and the corps gloves. his tail is just wire with black heatshrink.


here is my horses arse man. i also sprayed it the same day. i added bane hands and an ij pony tail since i last showed him. i also gave him a custom metal sword from my stash since the rest of my fantasy figures wield real metal weapons.


i don't know why, but he makes me think of zanzibar.

lastly for now another new baddy. i'm thinking overkill?




chap mei pirate torso, fn loer, ns bat arms (both the same weapon arm), neo viper gloves, and skumm head. still a wip.
