And in vehicle mis-uses, the Ice Wolf Ski-pedoes were used as rocket sleds. I could get a figure to "lock" onto the top by wedging the ankles under the top fin and their hands would fit along the front railing perfectly.
I thought that was very interesting so I actually tried it yesterday and indeed, a figure can be positioned that way perfectly! Sweet idea!

-86 Mindbender's cattle prod was a laser. The figure held it by that little handle thing, with the actual handle end tucked under their arm. It was murder on the figure's thumb.
I forgot I did that too!

Also, Tim, I’m seeing a trend with “time-bomb.”
Yeah, like I wrote in the first post I got hooked on time-bombs because of that particular scene in "Predator". Many weapons became personal favorites because I saw them used in action/ninja movies.

Dodger's gun....the "missile" had to be fired first...and then it worked like a regular machine gun....this meant I had to break off the missile and not lose it....which I course did.

If a figure couldn’t hold his or her weapon, they weren’t qualified to use it. Outback was qualified for every weapon for both hands.
That makes me curious, which figures are you talking about? I can only remember having trouble with S.A.W.-Viper, he never handled his weapon like he should. Zap V1 was before I got into G.I.Joe, I only know the thumb breaking stories from other collectors. Oh, and I was extra careful with Low-Light V1.

Never looked at him that way, but yes his suit does have deep sea diving potential!
