I once had this elaborate storyline where Lance Sputnik gets caught breaking into a museum (Lance Sputnik and the Three Headed King), goes to jail, and ultimately ends up ‘dead’. Then becomes king. This is one of the customs I started for that scenario.

This is a special custom for me. The impetus for making in was or friend Gary Goggles (Gyre Viper). He challenged me to do it, and even wrote the bio. I just haven’t had the heart to finish it until now.

Raptor got tired of not being taken seriously so he borrowed a Stellar Stiletto and flew up into space to think and mope. That is when he was struck by a tractor beam and pulled into a cloaked ship. Once on board he was confronted by the Lunartix who originally captured him to give him a maximum lobotomy (that's Lobotomaxx's only function in the empire). But upon seeing Raptor.... who apparently resembled their ancient deity of cakes and pastries..... bowed down before him and made him General to their armies. After a few months, Cobra Commander realized Raptor was missing when Zandar was trying to find someone to play Darstar in his stage/musical adaptation of Solarbabies. Then they forgot he was missing again. A few years later Raptor returned with Lunartixx technology. (Raptor had found out that the grand empire and army he'd become General of literally was made up of only Lobotomaxx, Predacon, and their maid Carcass). Everyone else in the empire was either dead, unproduced, or a Manimal. So Raptor gave the Lunartixx tech to Cobra and that is how the Star Brigade Cobra came into being. Earlier that day Raptor had given Lunartixx tech to the Joes as well, as he'd been gone for so long he'd forgotten which side he was on. The Joes were going to wait till they'd perfected the tech (hence, Star Brigade GI Joe) before telling Raptor he was Cobra. But then they forgot who he was after a few hours and kicked him out thinking he was an actual bird

A couple years ago I got a Cobra Commander head chromed up. At that time I also painted a dark blue helmet head to go on a hooded CC body, and painted the hooded head light blue to go on the lighter body. And some I am an idiot, I failed to get the head for the dark blue body gold chromed when I was doing this. Someday I will have to rectify that

The CC’s are solid. Agree the nickel plating for the black version would have been awesome but this is solid too.

I slapped this together, wanting a more casual Lando figure. I like the parts, but was sort of so so. Then in the process of painting, I couldn’t decide what color to do him in... this was one of those times where I just went for a crazy notion because a) why not, and b) why not?

Then I fell in love all over again, and El Tigre was born!

I got this sweet Snow Serpent head with Tele Viper head gear head from our friend Nova, and I found a suitably junky Snow Serpent head to paint in TeleTech Viper colors. The mods to the head are beautiful.

I wanted a pretty playable James Bond, with little paint apps, so I made this. He’s loosely based on some promotional art from Spectre. That’s how old this one is. I’m not sure about the feet, but they will do, until a better option comes around.

Just fiddlin around with parts one day, I found that the Mace Windu flesh tone matched this Ripcord torso so perfectly, I just had to keep it in place.
