They also addressed the Light Blue CC issue from the NTWRK release saying that the image they sent out were wrong. The light blue variant wasn't intended for release but they saw the reaction and that got it put into production for a December release. They admitted they screwed up which is nice to hear. No comment on the cluster%$#& that was the buying experience though.

I managed to order all of the figures on HasbroPulse with no issues at all, while the livestream was still going on. Took a minute to find the Amazon Storm Shadow but got him as well.

I was really hoping for an Alley Viper reveal but the Red Ninja fits in better with the Snake-eyes movie coming out.

Actually they did. Part of it was the sheer amount of art needed and how far in advance the freelancers are booked. The other part was finding artists they thought could really make certain characters pop based on their style. So instead of going to one or two people for a year's worth of product packaging art, they went to a dozen people to each do one.

I know that messes up the cohesive look and I certianly have my favorites, but we've come a long in the industry for Hasbro to even be name dropping their packaging artists. If the line does well, we'll get to a point where people are buying figures just because of who did the packaging artwork.
