You did a great job of blending the parts together.

Dammit, I literally have an MTF order Processing to replace everything on that crummy Hasbro figure from neck to knees and it's nowhere near as good this is! Thanks for crapping all over my day with your awesome figure, pal.

Thanks for the kind words on Falcon.

I mentioned in my last Crossbones post that I was thinking about utilizing some Marauder parts to address issues with his helmeted head. I also updated his lower legs to enhance his knee articulation. Here's how he looks now:

And it occurred to me that I hadn't posted updated pics of my Black Order power couple, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, since giving them some more screen-accurate weapons:

crossbones looks amazing! i liked him b4 but now he is everything a figure/character should be. as a production figure he would sell out fast!

the weapons are very cool.

So 2020 seems to be one kick in the schnutz after another.

I took Friday off to get my bearings after losing an aunt and an uncle in the same week (not married, but both covid related) and a friend/sister's husband's brother (stung to death by wasps) in the past month. And as my wife and I are enjoying a quiet dinner after the kids are down, my brother texts me that Chadwick Bosemen died.

I absolutely loved him as Black Panther. But he was just an amazing talent all around. And I was kind of embarassed on Saturday when my daughter suggested we set up a dio-tribute that I didn't have a decent unmasked version of the character. So we spent the last couple days on that:

T'Challa unmasked is a Boss Fight Studios blank noggin with sculpted on facial hair. The body is a repaint of the ML Civil War 3.75 figure. So is the body I used to make unmasked Killmonger:

That head is a RoC Ripcord with sculpted dreads.

Here's a shot of both of them fully masked:

We made these while watching Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War and Endgame. Lots of tears mixed in with the paint.

very nice tribute. i love all your work because your love for it shows. not being in the marvel loop i hadn't even considered a tribute figure. i'm so glad you made it, and you made it great!

sorry for your losses too. indeed 2020 has been the worst year.

Nice job Spinny; and damn sorry about all that news on a personal level on top of everything else.

But have to agree you did great on this. Would’ve sworn it was a cast of the actor.

Thanks guys.

The panthers were cathartic and I'm glad to have them in my collection now.

Recently my son and I started rewatching Netflix's Daredevil and I was reminded A. How good that show was (second only to Jessica Jones in story and acting quality) and B. that I was really disappointed we never got that version of the character in 1:18 scale. So I spent the last week or so chipping away at one:

It's not 100% accurate to either of his suits from the show, but I think it's a nice blend. I just finished the unmasked head this morning:

What do you guys think?

What a twist. I thought you'd stay with the MCU. Is that an Agent Mouse head?

I know the movies kind of formally divorced themselves from the TV stuff recently but, when the Netflix shows started, they were promoted as being in the same universe (they'd reference "the big green guy," "the guy with the hammer" and make jokes about running around with a shield while wearing a flag). I personally hope they get Charlie Cox back as Peter Parker's lawyer in the next Spidey movie.

And, yes, thats an Agent Mouse head with repainted hair and eyeglasses cut off a Wild Bill figure. Lots of Joe parts at play in this one.

The BP figure are spectacular and a lovely tribute. Godspeed, Mr. Boseman.

Daredevil is looking terrific, too! Sensational stuff.
