You guys were a huge help with ideas for the McCullen ancestor helmet.

Anyone have any ideas for a big, sci fi tank cannon barrel?

Current plan is to use the FLAK (minus the base and chair) as the "base" where the barrel meets the turret, but I'd like to extend and beef up the rest of it.

Want to avoid anything multi-barreled (no Gatling/chain gun style barrels" unless they're fairly unique.

Want something iconic like the persuader, but at the same time I don't want it too recognizable.

Just curious if anyone had any "secret weapons" in mind that I might not be considering.

The wing guns from the Dagger Squadron B-Wing, perhaps? They're an interesting shape, and definitely large enough to mesh with the FLAK body.

Most things I can think of are double barreled, could modify the look with some tech detail.

Battle bunker cannons
Raider cannons
Mean dog cannon
Poc blue hiss cannon
Pulverizer cannon

The crevice tool from a vacuum cleaner.

Round barrel, solid material to glue things on or to, and usually has an angled end with unusual designs (cuts, angles, narrowing tip, etc).

You might be able to greble up some type of emitter and glue it in the end.

Check your local reuse center for cast off parts or old vacuum attachments.

Many great sci-fi models or artistic renditions begin life as household items, so I kind of like DJ's thought. I'd say PVC piping of various sizes to overlap and make multi-surface totally unique barrel is an option I'd consider too, if you can mate it to the base well enough

thanks but it is a long way from paint! it is still loose parts just staged together. when i was making it i had only been using superglue, then i got my first uv glue. i'm thinking that will be needing cleaned up and use hot glue. man i love hot glue :)

Pulverizer is exactly the right type of thing, I'll have to think on that one.

Shampoo bottles or lotion or dish soap. Anything that is skinny and tapers.
