thanks sgcaper! there are still things that bother me with it, but for a cartoon figure from 1 episode (the best episode?) it will do. he'll go great with my CS set.

I think this turned out really well. It's not like this version of the character needs a full range of dynamic articulation.

i've mostly been working on my entry for the SE contest. i got the rocketeer's gun holsters settled so i hope to get his final shots soon. last night i took these shots witha last minute addition to my cold slither set. there was much panic and there were grown man fits thrown as i thought my camera was possessed
by da debil. turns out i dropped it the other day and it either reset all the adjustments to factory, or just the ISO since that was the fix. i couldn't get my normal crisp macro pics just blurry orange and dark. so now i know what all the buttons are for. i bought it used 7 yrs ago and just went with the last persons settings :)

glad you do. it's the one episode i have on my dvr so i went back and rewatched that scene. i missed the size a little, and he should have on a wifebeater. yet i guess he gets the character close enough for an accessory :)

Always love pics of that Rocketeer.

And the great thing about your approach to this hobby is how you bring different universes and different spins on different characters together.

I love the look overall. I think the holsters are good for what they are, but if this were mine, I'd use some thin vinyl to shape my own holsters. Then you could place them where you want and not worry about disrupting movement, because they'd be so thin.

Thanks! I started using 1 layer of heat shrink which is very thin. At the waist the guns themself are too big. It,s the figures dimensions or articulation . Guns at his waist run into his jetpack. The vinyl tape skirt&belt just clear. I really wanted them at the waist and spent lots of time trying :) but that's the fun part....I also flirted with shoulder holsters and just one handgun.
