Heh, you've triggered the geek in me: the bike was the Condor and it was piloted by Brad Turner. Sometimes it actually annoys me that stuff like that stays in my head. MASK was for me like MOTU for you, where Trakker, Mayhem, and a couple others were the only ones I was really familiar with but the names of nearly all of it sticks in my head and pops out when needed.
I was prime MOTU age when it came out, so it was my first toy obsession. I was strong into MOTU until the swivel arm hit on GI Joe and the extra articulation trumped the size of the MOTU figures, so I jumped ship.
Hahahaha Yeah that's the guy. Brad Turner. I wonder...where i pulled the name Bruce Sato from? Maybe a martial arts movie..
Edit: Apparently he is also a MASK guy. I don't recall having him though. Only Bru...errr. Brad Turner (amongst others).
Matt Trakker, Hondo Mclean, and ''Bruce Sato" aka Brad Turner are the only names i recall. Oh...and T-Bob.
What's odd about MOTU for me is i have a visceral connection to MOTU as it really was a key part of my childhood....until bicep swivels on small joes arrived and it was a WRAP after that. Before Joe , though, i was at He-Man on roller skates live events, had He-Man coloring books and fought over not getting home early enough after school to catch the cartoon. It was wild lol. I had snake mountain and lots of He-Man (or He-Man compatible) figures but ... only the 2 main characters hit me in the feels.
What i find interesting about that is i played with this guy & Man-E-Faces more than anyone else:
yet don't feel as strongly about the characters.
