$13 a figure? Ouch.

The Scarlett figure looks good, though.

While on Walmart's site Saturday preordering the FANG and Scarlett, I noticed that I could not only order Wave 1 of the Retro line, but that my local Walmart had some in stock. Now, because they've never put these on the sales floor and the website didn't show me who was availble, it was almost like a blindbag purchase.

My Hiss Tank from Walmart.com showed up today. Hiss Tank Driver has more new parts than I realized. I'm pretty sure the legs are all new, to go with the new vest and head. Not sure about the lower arms, though.

So... last Friday Hasbro had their Fans first Friday thingy where they announced new classified and "retro" figures and no one here reacted to that?
Any fans of the 6" line? The announced Flint and Lady jaye look very cool, but it sucks that they are not in the right scale.

As for the poor retro offering, DVD yelling Duke from the 25th line, what looks like DVD Cobra Commander and a kitbash Lady Jaye with the cap head instead of the more cartoon accurate head that was also available in the DVD sets.

Yeah, might explain why nobody bothered to comment on it...

or already customized better versions of what Hasbro has tried to pass off.

Would like to care about the 6" inch line. But, considering you can't find squat for that series, I'm past caring. Now, actually get some Cobra Troopers and Zartan on the shelf, I might care again.

I've been picking up the 6" figures as I've been getting into Marvel Legends as well. The only 6" Joes I'm missing are the Target exclusives except for the lone Cobra Island Roadblock I lucked into finding on the shelf. My Targets have the pegs and shelf space tagged for these but have not gotten any actual product onto the floor. I'd just like one Trooper to use as an officer for all of the v2 Troopers I have preordered. Beachhead would be nice too but what I'm especially bummed about is Baroness. I imagine they'll release her without the cycle at some point. But she is very much missed in my collection.

The "Retro" line just feels like a cash-grab to me. There's nothing "retro" about them and they aren't original either. Just a rehash of parts and reworked original art. Just like the 25th line. Sad because that could have been something special with a little more thought behind it. But they are pushing the 6" line and the "Retro" line is just there to appease the hardcore 1/18 collectors.

I realize that some of these were probably planned as early as 2018. And that the current team maybe doesn’t even have control over what was already in the pipeline, but that Duke... they should have just canceled that and left the character for a later wave. It’s embarrassing.

Whomever planned that figure hopefully has found a different field to work in.

This whole wave is a joke. I can see some potential for customizing parts in lady J but damn. This is garbage.

I had to do a search to find photos...man.... its an embarrassment. They are just bad. This team just completely does not understand what anyone wants.

I have never seen any of this line in stores.
