This right here. I didn't even care that it came with a Mando/Grogu - my intent was always to seriously use it for my little mini KOTOR-inspired team. Wish they would've made a Ghost, though - that would've worked perfectly as an Ebon Hawk II. Or as a Ghost, now that I thing about it...

For this week, have to say:

- loved the scrapyard at the beginning
- loved the reference to TPS reports

Why take the time to groom a mustache that nobody will ever see?

That's what I've been asking myself since mid-March.

As someone who earlier this year went 100 days without trimming his mustache or beard I can safely say unkempt mustache is annoying as all hell. Its less about looks and more about not eating it accidentally.

Maybe he's not doing it for others but for himself. Kinda like wearing sexy underwears under work clothes. :shifty:

Like we briefly saw inside Vader's mask, Mando helmets have li'l servobots on the inner lining to keep them kempt and manicured. Like samurai, they want to leave a nice-looking corpse.

What a finale. It's bitter sweet as it's the end of a fantastic show. I would love to see more Mando adventures even if little Grogu has gone to school.

I didn't get it when we first saw the X-Wing passing in the little screen, but when May said: "Only one X-Wing" I was jumping in my seat while my wife was still trying to figure it out.
It was so cool to see Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master, go through the Dark Troopers. At first I thought that since he was holding the Dark Saber, Mando would have been the one going through them, slicing and dicing. Did Luke steal his thunder right before taking his kid? Poor Mando, he had a bad day :)

This feels like the true sequel, following the events of RotJ. That show was great, that show was Star Wars.

The Book of Boba looks promising. I loved how Bib Fortuna became all fat after taking over Jabba's gang.

Gave me some goosebumps for sure.

A small part of me was bummed out that the show involved a Skywalker again. It was fun exploring a giant galaxy with little ties to that lineage and storyline.

Is this the end? Is it now the mandalorian starring boba fett? Like an anthology series or something?

With Ashoka showing up, that link was already made, might as well go all in without making Din Djarin a Skywalker's cousin :rotfl:

I thought the actor who plays Moff Gideon, in one of his interviews, said he's signed on for Seasons 3 or 4. If they do continue, I do hope they ignore the Cara Dune twitter "controversy" and keep the same actress.

I wonder how much of the Disney+ success is due to Mandalorian alone.

Even more than the Luke/Dark Troopers, I thought the Mando/Gideon duel was awesome. I need to make some Beskar steel staffs for my Mando figures.

Another bit of awesomeness from this episode - Cara Dune cussing out her rifle. It's the little things.

Before they showed Luke's face, and ignoring the music in the background, I wondered if they were going to have that be Ezra from the Rebels series. I actually prefer them using Luke instead of Ezra - I never could get into the Rebels series.

Is there any explanation to Moff Gideon raiding Vader's closet. I thought Moffs and Grand Moffs dressed in more military fashion.

I was all in until Luke. That made me far less excited. It was unnecessary and doesn't further the story. We already know where Luke ends up, I don't really need to know how he got there.

I actually wanted Ezra, and I have watched only one episode of his show, simply cause it would have furthered the Thrawn storyline and offered the possibility of another show.

The whole reason, I personally, like Mandalorian is that it wasn't tied into the OG trilogy and all that mythos, it was a new take, telling new stories. To end up with Luke being "THE Jedi" just felt forced and really killed my excitement. Plus it totally stole the show away from the main character.

I would have preferred Ezra, or Windu, or even a totally new Jedi maybe a species we hadn't seen as a Jedi before, something different. Instead, we got CGI from a third rate video game Luke.

It gets like 10x the viewers of the next-rated show. Disney are idiots to not crown F+F as the next creative heads of the entire company in gratitude.
