Never realized there were so many camo variants. Just dug mine out and discovered that I've had the thin green stripe version for the past 36 years. Very cool.

Today's new profile is the 1987 Persuader:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... uader.html

Really, this is kind of a cheap for a vintage Joe toy and is missing the bells and whistles that were the hallmark of Hasbro designs. But, it gets a pass from me as it was among the last toys of my childhood.

Today's new profile is the 2004 Desert Patrol Stalker:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... alker.html

This figure is one of the best releases of the 2000's and holds up pretty well.

Today's new profile is the 2020 Wal Mart "Retro" Hiss Tank:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... -tank.html

Fortunately, this tank is compatible enough with vintage Joes. It's your standard Hiss. But, it was fun to put one together for the first time in a long time.

Today's new profile is the 1984 Chameleon that was included with Zartan:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... eleon.html

For something so small, the Chameleon had a lot of features. It's not something about which I'm overly sentimental. But, it's iconic to the Zartan figure.

Last week's profile was one of the least engaged in the site's history. Let's see if the 1987 Fast Draw fares any better:

Today's new profile is the 1997 Ace:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... 7-ace.html

This mold never had a bad repaint. This 1997 figure is a little bland. But, he's still a great pilot for just about any aircraft.

Today's new profile is of the 2017 Black and Blue Cobra Alley Viper by Black Major:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... -blue.html

This figure is based on the 1997 Rage box art and filled a major hole in the Alley Viper pantheon.

The repaint repos aren't really my cup of tea, but if someone releases a set with all the major Vipers done in a consistent blue and black, I'd be all over it. I know repaints are how the justify tooling costs, though.

This one is is little heavy of the black, but otherwise is exactly the type of repo that does appeal to me.

Today's new profile is the 1993 Bulletproof figure:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... proof.html

I've always liked Bulletproof. And, even the neon yellow of this 1993 version is kind of fun.

Today's new profile is of the 1993 Armor Tech Rock and Roll:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... -roll.html

Armor Tech were figures I left behind. But, this figure has a cool head that could be used for customs. And, he has an accessory variant that I find far more interesting than anyone else likely will.

Today's new profile is the Funskool Cutter:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... utter.html

This Cutter mold was a substantial upgrade over the 1984 and this Funskool release gave collectors a great opportunity to add cheap versions of a great figure to their collections.

Today's new profile is the 1983 Hawk:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... -hawk.html

Once the '86 Hawk was released, this figure didn't have much purpose. But, he's still an essential member of the original 13.

Today's new profile is the 2020 Bonecrusher figure from Black Major:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... usive.html

This was my favorite figure release of 2020 and invigorated the 1985 Snake Eyes mold. As a bonus, I wrote way too much about how this figure fills a gap from one of my childhood adventures.

Wait a minute! Lt. Kawalsky from Stargate isn't a Joe figure!

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... rgate.html

But, take a look at his accessories. The Stargate line was another example of Hasbro cannibalizing the Joe line to reduce costs on their licensed brands.
