Well done! Do you have a tutorial to mix MC parts on the Mission Fleet figures?

I'm wondering if Mega Construx is done with Call of Duty. A new game came out last year and nothing. No new sets or at least figures based on the new game.

I dunno that a tutorial is going to be all that much. The MF figures need elbows, knees, and a waist to be minimally-acceptable to me. I just cut/paste the boots onto appropriate Construx knees and cut away the MF thighs and pelvis entirely. A small hole drilled up into the torso and the Construx swivel waistpeg slides right in. Depending on where the MF belt-line is I've had to file down the 'bowl' of a Construx pelvis to keep the torso proportions right. I had to do this to Maul above due to the wide belt for his cyberlegs.

As the MF figures have ball shoulders you can cut the elbow out of the MF arm and paste the Construx elbow onto the glove and then *v*e*r*y*c*a*r*e*f*u*l*l*y* drill a hole up into the MF hindarm to fit the Construx peg - or you can simply paste and entire Construx arm onto the glove and shove the Construx shoulder peg into the MF torso after heating it up.

The hardest part is finding figures that will work with the recipe. Chewbacca is useless as there's no where to cut appropriately nor a Construx figure that matches. I just upConstruxed the Anakin figure and put Chewie's head and hands on it to make a midgety Wookiee Jedi.

Can't wait for the Blurgg set with Kuil. I'll try to remember to take WIP pics when I fix him.

Don’t know if this is new or not, but found the Skeletor/Panthor at Walmart.

Yeah that's new. Panthor is flocked this time, unlike the Point Dread version.

And apparently plays well with Plunderlings:

how big is he next to a 4" figure? mountain lion or big house cat?

i googled it and got real excited when i saw imagenext skeletor. until i read an article and learned it was 10" xl. the head looks really good compared to the other motu in that line. maybe they will make some normal size ones with that good of likeness.

Not my pic; but I don't believe Panthor is any bigger than the previous rider beasts they've done since the Warcraft line, at least. He just has a wrist joints now, and flocking on this version. The Plunderlings *are* 4inch figures despite being advertised as 6" scale - they're 6" scale dwarves. So Panthor should look the same size to an 18th Human; they human just won't look as WIDE as the Plunderling.

i just saw this too :shifty: who's a battle kitty kitty.

i have been researching (looking at pics) trying to figure out an actual scale of the original battlecat and panthor. i know there is toy vs. art differences, but it seems all over the place.

I got my Battle Ram (Amazon had it for $20) last week and assembled it this past weekend. I really like it. I've been pretty strictly "I'm in this line for the figures, not the brick vehicles" but have gotten the vehicles that came with figures I really wanted, such as Roton and the Talon Fighter, but skipping things like the Wind Raider and Castle Grayskull because I'm not into the look of brick builds. But with the Battle Ram, I'm really pleased with the overall look of it. It really doesn't look like a brick build other than the seams and the odd visible peg here or there.

In fact, I like it enough it made me order a Wind Raider, which I'd skipped because I was planning on doing my own 3D prints of MOTU vehicles I want (such as the Attak Trak and Spydor I already designed and printed) and I didn't need yet another He-Man and Skeletor. But now I'm thinking I'll be keeping some of the vehicles in my collection instead of boxing them away. Still not planning on getting a Grayskull, because I just do not like how it looks. The technical feat it took to design the build is impressive but I don't like the look of it and having Point Dread in hand just drives home how much I don't like the look.

I get what ya mean on the brick build. The Windraider was a very solid set, especially for the price these days.

The blue Claptrap wave is in stock at BBTS, got 2 of him in my PoL. Hopefully they'll saturate the pegs so I can nab more conveniently.

Got the MF Kuill + Blurgg set in Saturday from BBTS and have up-bashed him with a Construx Assassin's Creed build I was reserving to make Disney fox-style Robin Hood if I ever found a good fox head:

I figured that's all that's really needed. For this guy I didn't see a lot of value in keeping Kuill's boots as I've been doing so I just swapped in the entire lower Construx assembly.

The Blurgg toy is pretty dang sweet, too. Ball-motion tail and shoulders with swivel hips and opening mouth. It's a lot more playable than it has any right to be, imho. Maybe they'll do another with Mando.
