We got iced in today, so what better way to spend it than to spend it customizing and relaxing.

I'm kind of stuck on the Mega Construx scale of figures now, so made a couple more of them to go in my MOTU-verse. Since MC has been releasing or announcing a lot of MOTU figures, I've been making customs of KOs and copycats lately, to pad out my 'verse. My take on Eternia is more like the Eternia of the first four mini-comics, rather than the Filmation version, so there are more roving heroes and villains to encounter. Today's customs come from the Camy 'Monsters of the Galaxy'. This line was a double-KO, as it used parts from both MOTU and Blackstar. The two I customized today are Atrox Beast and Tiamat.

Up first Atrox Beast (I'm just calling him Atrox):
I made him from a Beast Man with He-Man fur diaper and harness and a bit of sculpting.

Next is Tiamat:
This guy is a bit goofy looking, especially for his name being one of such primordial power but I just had to make him. He's made from a Moss-Man with Beast Man's fur diaper, He-Man's harness (modified), and a sculpted fish hat.

Man that Tiamet is my kind of weird. I believe that could be done in the 3 3/4 scale using a Serpentor head as a base. Great work at this scale!!

Thanks, guys! AVE, Serpentor was kind of my inspiration on this one. The 'fish hat' of the original Camy figure was just a bit too goofy for me. I decided if it was more like Serpentor's helmet it would look a bit better. Plus, with the lower jaw covering his lower face, it helps to hide the fact that it's just Moss-Man hiding out in there.
My backstory for the two:
Atrox is a member of the same jungle tribe as Beast Man. He's a mercenary who throws in with whichever party will give him the most coin. He has skills and abilities, including the same power over animals that Beast Man and others of his race have, making him a powerful addition to any group. However, his only allegiance is to the gold coin he receives so he can't be trusted.

Tiamat is a water elemental. Just as the Goddess is the avatar of fauna and Moss Man is the avatar of flora, he is the avatar of the sea. While the Goddess and Moss Man take more active roles in Eternia, Tiamat prefers to keep to himself and prefers to be left alone. He will lash out at any he feels threaten his watery domain.

I love these. Goofy-looking is actually the goal with MOTU figures, I'd say.

Man you took those goofy looking bootlegs and made them actually fit the Universe and be kickass. Not an easy fete to pull off.

Thanks! I'm having fun with this project. When I was a kid, I really enjoyed some of the 'unofficial' figures for Joes and MOTU. They may not have been as polished as the offerings from the big two, but they had their own charm to them.

These look great. I especially like Tiamat.

I never got into He-Man, I only had a couple that I can remember, but seeing you build out the MOTU universe is awesome.

Tired of the ineptness of his lackeys, he hires The Guild of Mute Assassins to take care of his enemies. Can they succeed where others have failed? Probably not, since it's known as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, but they'll sure try!

Up first, Organ Grinder, so called because, as leader of the Guild, he's the one who makes all the monkeys dance. I'll probably be giving him a different head -- I was trying to find a use for all the spare Skeletor heads I have and thought I could make it look like a 'bag over a head' to give him that Dark Ages Cobra Commander vibe but I'm not happy with how it turned out.
