Found these cool "Jurassic World: Micro Collection" figures at Dollar Tree during my wanderings today.

They are actually made by Mattel, so they can be considered part of the official action figure line.

The scaling and details on the 2 theropods (Blue and T-Rex) and the Triceratops work quite well for juveniles. The Dimetrodon (odd choice for inclusion in such a small line as no living Dimetrodon has appeared in the films, the only one in any of the 5 films was a statue in the mansion in "Fallen Kingdom") has a really odd, shortened anatomy making it look like a "Dungeons & Dragons" miniature from the 70's- which is oddly endearing to me.

The raptor looks really good. Does he have articulation ?

Sadly, no
They are static figurines.

Wasn't even aware the Nedry Getaway set was out yet.

Managed to pick up a couple at my nearest store too.

I grabbed that set yesterday and immediately lost the spit accessory for the dino. I watched it fly across the floor. Saw exactly where it landed, under the liquor cabinet. Went to get it, and it was freaking gone.

The stick disappeared immediately into my couch upon opening it.

However my main gripe is the doors on the jeep and the top don't open

The "canvas" top comes off. Just wiggle it a bit while pulling it straight up. It's just held on by friction.

My main gripes are the lack of paint apps compared to the original jeep and the lack of a working winch.
Thankfully I picked up a few extra jeeps, one of which was going to be made in to Nedry's number 12.
Swapping around parts I was able to use the original's chassis, which gave it tires with the lettering and the working winch. Just needed to swap the license plate stickers too. I also was able to give it the original's windshield and the hood piece directly below it, which gave it a painted dashboard and painted hood vent.
The only paint I think it is still missing, compared to the original, is obviously the back side orange stripes and then the grille vents.

Preordered. I'm sure they'll show up in stores sooner, but not being able to hunt for it sure is nice.

I was tempted to order it, but I've got too many t-rexes and I already have a Tim Murphy figure.

Hope the SUV is available on its own at some point like the Jeeps were.

I wish the T-rex wasn't included to bring the price down a bit.

There is a 5pk of the mini "Jurassic World" dinos that have been showing up at Dollar Tree recently. This 5pk was found at Ross and contains a fifth mini dino (stegasaurus) that is not in the assortment found at Dollar Tree!

The 5pk retails for (appropriately) $4.99.

Like the other previous exclusives, let's hope he'll get a regular retail release as well.

Stopped by Target before earlier.

They had the "Jurassic World" Slash 'N Battle Scorpios Rex ($24.99) in stock.

It is significantly larger than the one that comes in the pack with Kenji and the Gyrosphere as shown in the second image.

The larger one's articulation is tied to a pair of action feature buttons. The first button, higher on the spine, controls a slashing attack with both arms as well as a lunge and snap of the head and jaws. A second button, lower towards the tail, controls a side strike from the tail. The only articulation that moves freely is the legs. So if you want superarticulation, go for the smaller one in the pack with Kenji.

Personally, I want both to be different individuals. I have the smaller one already and will get the larger one next paycheck when I have more fun money.
