Super 7 posted a tease on Instagram and they mention that we should know more on July 15.
Don't know if it'll be just a reveal or the actual release date.

Yes, lots of variants in harness color and skin tone.

Personally I don’t understand taking a line that is known for articulation and making 5POA figures of them. It totally is missing the point. Its like all the Transformer figures that are stuck in robot mode and don’t actually, you know, transform.

Kwinn!?!?! Will this be part of the movie?? They didn’t meet until early Joe mission (issue #2) in the Arctic.

I don't think this line is movie stuff. Mors like retro or deep cuts/niche characters.

Uhhh, I think this is actually going to be 6/7" scale "ultimates" versions based on the cartoon designs... I'm super interested all of a sudden. We'll see.

Or is this a totally separate line!? Or are they actually doing "reaction" figs with articulation!? So many questions!?

Must be Ultimate. Detailed and articulated, yeah. 7" Snake Eyes can't be far.
Slightly bigger than Classified as to not compete nor complete Hasbro's offering and probably more cartoon accurate.

The Super7 Ultimates line is in the 7” scale same as MOTU Classics. That’s what this Timber is teasing.

I honestly don’t see this going very deep at all. Two maybe three waves at most. Classified is on fire despite the horrible Target exclusive distribution. Getting collectors to switch to a new scale so soon after hooking them on 6” is going to be hard. Especially given the retail for Ultimates at an average of $50 a figure, armybuilding is going to be cost prohibitive.

Then there is Super7’s Ultimates articulation philosophy of form over function. Single hinge knees and elbows aren’t going to be a good selling point for an IP built on maximum posability. They could change that but after seeing the Silverhawks and MMPR figures, which are designed with priority on matching the animation and toys respectively I anticipate these being strongly influenced by the original cartoon with the single joint knees/elbows being justified by the ARAH figures.

Then you get into their production schedule which is about 9-12 months from preorder to product arrival and I don’t think fans will stick around unless the product is exquisite.

If that’s what you’re after, more power to you. Super7’s quality is really good. But I’m out. I’m all in for the Thundercats and Silverhawks Ultimates but only because they’ll fit with my MOTUC figures. I’m invested in Hasbro’s Lightning Collection for my MMPR fix and only getting the Ultimates Green and White Rangers for my collection of those versions.

It's both!?

I don't need to get into either of these lines but... Man, wish Hasbro put this much effort into something.

https://preorder.super7store.com/collec ... -1-figures

$55 each. Animation inspired. Single joint knees and elbows. Lots of accessories but yeah, hard pass. :(

not really related but i saw reaction transformers on hasbro's ebay store. i thought it was strange. any chance hasbro is making reaction figures, like farming them out for super7? it happens in other manufacturing a lot. from hot sauce to autos a big company will make "other" branded products.

Nope. Super7 makes all of the ReAction line. HasbroPulse sells the threezero 1/6 MMPR figures and Super7 Reaction figures. The ebay store is just an offshoot of the Pulse site.

I wonder how well those Reaction Cobra Troopers will fit in things like HISS tank turrets. :shifty:
