I'm glad that the distribution is getting better now that it's a proper full line.
At first, the characters were almost impossible to find as they were only sprinkled through the Heroes line.

If they ever make a Ninjor, I might lose it and buy every one I can find, to play, display, have one at the office, one in the car...

Come on, give in... you know you want them. Have you seen the advent calendar that's coming? You can't pass that up; it's just too much fun! Also, a proper-colored Roboto and Webstor are supposedly in the near future, too.

2 of my top 4 toy interests in one picture. You gotta love it.

I don't think i've seen the new advent calendar (or if i have i've forgotten about it) . What's in it?

I'll never completely walk away from Mega Construx as the human figure design is too useful at this scale and i *really* respect what they brought to market with the SEAL Team figure set in 2013. They earned my loyalty with that move. However i can only cherry pick the various lines for fodder at this point. You'd think i'm a part of the demographic that would embrace the sci fi HALO line but i am beyond disinterested in it outside of the non spartan characters.

I need unique I.P.s or in house properties like a generic ("Not WWE" ) wrestling figure line or a Dragons Universe reboot or at the very least some new fodder (reuse of Bebop and Rocksteadys pot belly torsos or different human skin tones on the MOTU muscle torso, more medium build torsos, etc).

Mattel should bring back Big Jim through the Construx line. The whole secret agent and space theme that they had in Europe was fantastic.
Oh and what are they waiting for to bring out the Construx yellow astronaut and purple alien? Those guys WERE the actual Construx figures.

I'd buy them.

Sure, nothing new unless you count Screeech and Orko, but it looks like so much fun. That's the sort of thing I want from MC.
I don't buy the Halo stuff, except things that can be reused in either MOTU or as fodder for my MC GI Joe figures. I definitely agree about how they need more properties. Like Redmao said, Big Jim could really shine in this scale. They could get buy just doing the 'helmet packs' to release little adventures. Or even just a generic adventure line, with 'adventurers' (could be done by using some of the WWII CoD bucks in khaki) on safari and stuff. Make it where the good guy is trying to save the rare alligator or whatever while the bad guy (Movie Bebop with new head and no tail) is trying to steal the alligator/MacGuffin. Make the containers look like rocks that you can then connect together to make a mountain or cliff. So many things that can be done at this scale, with the modular nature of the figures.

THAT.

Give me a figure with multiple uses (adventurer, shirtless tough guy cliché character, unique torso) and cases that double as connecting diorama pieces and i'd at least one. I've not bought any of the helmet / head sets from any of the Mega sub lines.

And...i could have sworn i saw some Dianaut sized MOTU figures ...wait...that's from that other micro figure line.

Yup. MC could create a niche that Lego hasn't yet cornered and run with it. It's like the Polly Pocket/Mighty Max sets with a lot more playability. The containers could stack and combine to make larger playsets, and/or they could include pieces to make the interiors of them into mini playsets. Imagine a boulder with some studs on it in key places about the size of the Skeletor or Halo heads, except it hinges open at the back instead of the back just coming off. You fold it open and there's a 'river' running between the two halves (the opening half is a quarter brick thick for about 4 studs at the bottom, at the hinge, then is a full brick thick for the rest of it.) A bridge could cross it that collapses, there could be 'vines' (green versions of the piece used as Beast-Man's whip) hanging from inside the top of the container. Stuff like that.

The advent calendar has little guys in it (Beast Man, He-Man, Skeletor, and Mat at Arms) that are small enough for the MC figures to hold them like toys.

Has anyone here bought any wwe beast mode figures? I'd like to know if the heads scale well with mega bodies.

Sorry, haven't bought any of those. But speaking of beasts and scaling, I finally used one of those Spider-Man movie statue figures I got from you in a trade a while back. I'd been sitting on it trying to figure out what I really wanted to do with it and finally came up with something. If you want to see it, it's in the critiques section.

Has anyone heard any news regarding whether Clamp Champ will appear in the Mega line?

Spent the last couple hours opening and sorting the extra MotU vehicle sets I picked up a while back. Point Dread, Wind Raider and 3 Battle Rams. I bought them for the vehicles and thought "what am I going to do with the extra figures?"

This. This is what I'm going to do with them.

You should start customizing them! Mega figures have become the only thing I customize anymore -- the scale is perfect and the quickness and ease with which they can bet tweaked is great for fast customs: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=48111&start=15

I tweaked my Zartan I designed and printed him out in resin instead of filament for higher quality. I found a UV-reactive pink to blue pigment that can be mixed into paint or resin. I only have white resin on hand so I wasn't able to blend to a more flesh-like color but as a test, it's not bad. The hands are place holders (Beast Man hands painted black), as are the legs (some Halo or CoD figure). But as you can see, the parts are all Mega compatible:
Normal color, a pale pink:

Exposed to UV, a medium purple:

*standing applause*

You've done it mate. You've broken out of the frustrating trap Mega has placed customizers in with their lack of variety and distribution issues. Serious congratulations. Every character you've ever wanted is right around the corner.

Did you mod an existing file or scratch build a torso? I've got both myself but the scratch build ...yikes....getting past the last 15 % (back muscles) has been a nightmare and has really tested my patience and made me want to use an existing design.

It'll be worth the headache obviously.
