yikes that's a tight fit. a smaller wheel might help but my gb are pretty dang big.

am re-rethinking which way i'd like to go. i passed o a broken kenner shell the other day on ebay, but that pic has me scratching my chin.

the ecto-1 i really want to see nect to the plasma series is this one. from the listed measurements( again the box or the toy?) and kids hands it looks very close to the plasma version. just taller, which is easier to live with than too small.

I dunno man. It says opening doors but looking closely at the driver side, I see detail lines but no seams. It looks like the driver door don't open.

i didn't even think about that! that would be about right though! the internet allready groaned when their plasma car was off scale from the plasma figures, so why not a car that's in scale, but won't open!

The one from the movie, yes, I snipped the bottom half-circle off the steering wheel for an easier fit for my custom GBs. Still a little tight, but better fit than the playmobil one where I had to cut Flinstone-esque holes in the floorboard for the legs to fit. I don't know much about the other one you're asking about other than it's pretty cartoony. Realism in shots when the GBs are out of it fighting ghosts is more important for me.

please be on look out for the gb plasma ecto1 at discount stores or online at a discounted price. i just noticed target shows out of stock. it was a target exclusive so this could be because they are all gone, not restocked until movie, or pulled from target to go ? who knows where.
