Finally painted a figure this year.

Jinx leads the Ninja Force, GI Joe's hostage rescue team.

Pretty sure the head and body are two different Rey Whatshername from Star Wars. I liked that the outfit had similar styling to a gi, I only had to add a bit of trimmed bandanna to make the sash knot.

Image

The hair is a neat design for Jinx IMO. Freehanded the dragon in one shot and its good enough for me. She gets a gun to handle those situations where ninja skills alone won't do it.

Image

And side by side with the previous custom. Not sure which version I'm up to but this one will take the shelf for a while.

The open shoulders are a signature for Rey. Did you consider painting them red? Just curious. The figure is sweet- I'm just curious.

Btw, that NS Jinx still rocks. It's a shame that they used some oversized shoulders on the female figures then.

It's all about shoulders today, I guess!!

I should have dyed it but this Apple Barrel Red Apple paint is the same color I've used on every Jinx custom. Coverage is absolutely crap and I regret it every time. I used a base coat of a darker red this time so it only took 4 coats.

Thanks, I thought about making a waterslide but decided to wing with a brush instead.

I briefly considered it but decided to go with bare shoulders in case there is paint rub it won;t be as obvious.

This is a Loot Studios model that I scaled to the max size my printer can handle of 120mm. Really more of a test piece to see how the transparent green resin would look with lights added. I painted the statue with a tan base and gave it a wash of dark chocolate. I'm calling this the altar to Mother Earth and is another of the treasures for The Adventure Team to search for.

Damn, that's nice. I really need to re-calibrate my printer and start working up to projects like this.

Great stuff!

That’s a cool statue. I’m always impressed with your 3D prints, the lights set this thing over the top.

Dollar Tree Orko with added articulation courtesy of Indiana Jones Elsa Schneider, Corps Puma, and Emperor Palpantine. I've got no place for him in my universe now but it was perfectly scaled.

Image

Test fit of the arms:

Image

Fresh out of the bubble. Perfect sized but needs better articulation and freedom from the stand. Paint apps actually weren't too bad either.

Image

And the only buff blonde dude I had close by for scale purposes.
