Just for fun discussion.

Which Batman color pallete is your favorite?

Not which era or actor, just the colors. There are no wrong answers.

For me it's the blue cowl and cape with the gray suit, yellow details. All black may be more stealthy and I'll always dig the Tim Burton movie look, but the classic colors are a lot more fun. Especially in the comics, I appreciate the colors instead of an all black silhouette. One of my favorite things about the Arkham games was to play as the Adam West skin.

black and yellow for me. i remember watching the tv show reruns as a young child and it was like a live action cartoon. i never was into comics, mostly because i was never exposed to them. in 1989 i was 10yrs old and that batman was the first time i thought he was cool. keep in mind the full on ad machine from fast food to soda and even cereal .batman was everywhere and i was hooked even before i saw the movie. i saw it in theater which was a rare thing for me, so that stuck.

it was still 4 yrs or so before we got a vcr and the first two movies we bought were batman, and beetlejuice.

For years if I thought of Batman, Michael Keaton was the image that went with it. But as Batman got darker, the more I liked the blue and gray. And now the more they try to make Batman gritty and realistic, the more I like the silly Adam West era.

I almost went with blue and grey as that’s what I grew up with, but I feel black and grey is overall the best.

Black and gray. I remember thinking it looked amazing when they went from the original designs to the updated look in the later seasons.

BTAS and the Arkham games are my preferred Bat stories, so I gotta go with black/gray.

It bothers me that all the big movie reboots seem embarrassed by large swaths of the Batman world. He's a crazy rich guy who dresses up like a bat. You can try to make it as gritty as you want but it's a incredibly silly concept at it's core, and I love it.

I've been showing my kids the Burton and Shumacher movies since they're on Hulu now. The first two seemed to get the balance between real world and Adam West about perfect.

I love the all black look but I prefer the gray and black outfit.

I almost always prefer the grey, blue, & yellow with the grey, black, & yellow as a second choice. I understand the darker looks, but they are not the ones I grew up with and prefer.
Apologies in advance, but this is a semi sensitive subject for me. Mostly due to other boards.
I love how everyone goes "oh the grey, blue, and yellow" is the 60's era batman. Uhm, no. It was Batman's look through almost all of the 80's. That is my Batman. Heck, Adam West is still my favorite Batman with Kevin Conroy and Keaton being a close second & third. Bale is my least favorite. I'd rather watch a Batman porn than watch any of the Dark Knight trilogy, at least the acting would be better.

I'm not against the grey and black look, but I grew up on the grey and blue costumes. I miss them.

But I don't like the black on black look. They try to make him a ninja. He drives a flaming hot rod. He isn't trying to blend in. He's either hiding or he's not.

Good topic.

For me it depends on the context.

For his solo or primarily Bat Family adventures in Gotham, I like the blqck and gray. I think of it as his "home game" uniform and appreciate it in the 90s toon, most of his comics and all the Arkham games.

For "away games" like in a Justice League setting or some non-Bat-adjacent team-up, I want him in the blue and gray.

He seems like a guy who'd have special suits for juat about any contingency. Which, I guess, is why I have so many Batman customs:
