thanks 8bitboy! the wizards have been wips for a long time. i don't know if motu had 2 wheelers, heman had that trike looking green ripper thing. the new heman has bikes, and came out before i could start mine. that shadow bike would be a hover type without wheels, but i have 2 bikes and a treaded vehicle planned for motu.

i appreciate it sizemore77. i really want to get at them again. i think i need to finish he-mans sword ,and that might get me going again. having so many wips in so many different areas makes it hard to stay focused. your 80's project is such an inspiration, not only in work but in the dedication you have.

some stuff from recent trades got me going a little bit. first up i got the fn hotdog guy for my granddaughter and spec sent me more fn food heads too. after trying them on a few figures i settled on the rumblers and i think they look pretty good.


in a great trade from slim19722 set me off in 3 directions.
i got these hands to add to my gray aliens. i also added the articulated feet from sw black series finn.

second up from that trade is a red suited fn figure that will go with my voodoo guy. mr. man, mr. hand, mr. death(maybe)
and lastly a colossus that will join my knights. his head is off a rumbler. no idea on the helm, shield, or sword.
he is huge. even next to my heman stand in.

this guy will be a dragon rider. some kind of demon ,maybe a blue devil.

I cannot wait to see what you do with that Colossus! Bring out the warrior within! Also found the gray aliens quite fascinating. Looking good so far. Also, the blue devil looks like he'll turn out interesting. I was getting this Darth Maul dragon rider vibes looking at his initial design until you suggested blue devil. How about a brown devil like the Imp from Doom 2016 or Doom Eternal?

thanks guys! planning just a skirt and some black washing on the big guy, then a metal weapon of some sort since all my other knights have real metal. my heman sword is about the right size for him, so i may start over for heman and go that route.

the aliens are my 3rd go with the galactic hero heads. they are huge for grays, but they were super cheap and who's to say they might have melon headed cousins. i should of bought the black series rose bodies when they were all over the place, but never had a reason.....

i'll look up the doom characters. i just went blue since the got? base was light blue already. i think the base came from drbindy several years ago, upper arms too. the thighs are from a bh6 guy i got from sgcaper 6 or so yrs ago, and the head also from sgcaper recently i want to sculpt some fur and add a soft goods loin cloth. he already looks better than my other riders, so time to look at them again.

thanks gents! i want to make a display with terrain for the dragons, but mounting them metal clothes hanger poles are the way to go. here they are just stuck into holes i drilled in the stepped wooden display my wife made me to go in our curio cabinet. i still haven't redid that display, and it's been 3 yrs or so.
