i'm not sure where this guy fits in my verse. he's a japanese macaque/snow monkey warrior king. i plan on giving him some paint w/pink face and toning down the blue skin some. 2 fn figs bashed together w/awok head. chain was made for something else, but i added the big blue ball just for him.

i thought the fb catbot figure was going to be much bigger, but i really like the parts. i had a ready player one torso on it and was trying to find a head i liked. this sw drone was just too big as a head, but i really wanted to use it. so i chucked the torso. ff cyber arm hands and little bits for wrists.

here are my current dragon relm ranks. they all can ride dragons, but their lower cast are expendable riders and guards.

the drone heads represent the lower cast unmasked. only the upper most of this group can go unmasked

spike head got an all new build. a duke level soldier of the dragon king whos is dragon born.

i went this direction to use this big single green fist. i think it is too big though.

i tried a bunch i had, including this open hand

but i think the colossal fist will be good once it color matches the gauntlet.

you'll notice the elbow rivet that's finished, and the 2 1/2 done knee pins using melted rivets.

So do you usually start with the idea pretty well baked and then look for parts to make it happen, or do you find a part and kind of build around it to see what takes shape?

Inspirational work here! The FF centaur would be a nice addition to anyone's figure collection. Once the center connection point is hidden it will be on par with much more expensive items visually.

thanks spin doctor! getting a bunch of new parts all in one week had me looking at the pile from every angle. some ideas start from a part like the big green fist. the headway with others is just try it and see. i find myself wiring and pinning things, then if i like where it's going come back and glue. anywhere i skip glue i do though, because i either get it everywhere or it doesn't set.

i've got a bunch of pics to edit ,but wanted to get a few up from last night.
i'm really liking my new go at man-e! the face shield is removable and there are 3 faces that rotate behind it. i had all but given up until i had a breakthrough.


the mf bad batch were so much better than i thought. i wish i'd gotten 2 sets for that deal just for the accessories.

i had the neoviper heads set aside for more mf figs after i got one from spec

they are a much smaller race than the grays, but they are a warrior race.


i was listening to rage against the machine and this happened.
