Thanks man!

I looked at a lot of pictures of bats while I painted it up.

The zombie was fun. Sculpting the innards was something I’ve only done a couple times. I kept the paints simple and I really like it. One day I’ll set up a pic with my horde.

The wash over the glow-in-the-dark is amazing.

Great use of the ROC Cobra Commander head, too.

Here’s what I’ve finished over the last 2 days.

First up some commission figures.

Now for my personal stuff

This BAT had been sitting in a bin with no lower arms for years (I’d used them for a custom). While going through my parts I found a cast lower arm attached to the cast dual chainsaw attachment. I painted it up and voila a 1 armed BAT. I then went through my stuff and took a lower arm off a 1 arm battle damaged BAT custom I made years ago. I tossed a cast attachment on and I have SawBAT destroyer of the undead.

A Cobra Science Officer Captain. A few years back I made 2 Cobra Science Officers using this formula (stolen from someone else and I can’t remember who). While looking for parts for commission figures I realized I could make another. I had bought the Storm Shadow figure for a buck at a toy show. It was filthy. It took a while to clean but I got it back to looking new. This is a full LBC. The only mods made were to the holster to allow the vaccine gun to fit.

A zombie pet. Pets are kept by many who roam the waste. They help keep other zombies at bay and are even better at keeping the living away. Most who keep Pets make them wear bullet resistant head gear and a bite resistant muzzle. The keeper of this Pet choose the bullet and bite resistant full face helmet

This figure might possibly be my favorite that I’ve made in a long time. This past weekend I sold my original apocalyptic wasteland Charlie Brown. It’s a figure I’ve wanted to redo for years and selling it was the push I needed to update it. I absolutely love the parts combo, especially the legs.

man that is a lot of great stuff. really great pics too.

that sand scorpion is the best i've seen. really good use of armor painted just like a bug.

mercer and charlie are both amazing looking builds.

the zompet is very clever and funny. i think i'd have two with big metal heads named "dinger" and "donger" cause the taco bell ring sound they make when you shoot one. dooong! stranger "what was that?". cowboy zombie wrangler " that was the door bell"

Thanks!

The original Sand Scorpion had a giant Cobra sigil on it's chest, I was hoping to mimic the silhouette of the sigil with the paint. But seeing it as a bug is just as good.

Thanks. I'm super excited about the Charlie Brown build. I don't know why but I really am.

I hope to make a few more Pets. I love Dinger and Donger, you gotta make them now.

I love seeing your take on the new sculpt era figures. That Sand Scorpion is a work of art. The scorpion drone looks fantastic with the detail work. Did you lengthen the tail?

And then Mercer, my favorite version of the character, never having a V1 when I was a kid. I call him Nomad in my verse since he's Richard Cecil and not Felix Stratton.

The chainsaw BAT is fun and I like new BAT weapons.

Thanks!
I did not lengthen the tail. I just gave it a quick paint job.

Here’s one for tonight

Stormtrooper 197T

Known for being a rule follower and always keeping his gear immaculate, 197T was sent through a Stargate with a small team to gather intelligence. His team made it to Earth but he’s the only one that survived initial contact. He’s been in hiding since that time gathering intel, keeping up on the spit polish of his armor, as well as adding to and modifying his gear waiting for the day he can return to the Empire

Here’s the question. Do I weather him or keep him shiny and clean?

Here’s a WIP I’m posting cause I know a bunch of people here like to make Predators and as soon as I picked this head for the figure I thought, “hey, with some dreads that would make a badass Predator head”

No it’s not going to be a Predator for my verse
